From what i understood of what you wrote, you feel this is the right way for you to learn to be a Dom. Maybe you been told this is the only way. I do hope though through reading these very good posts here, you might step back and really reconsider what it is YOU want and not what these other people are calling trueisms.. At least, perhaps you will understand if nothing else, if you are not a submissive then you cannot embark in knowing how we feel, especially since we are not all 'branded' into one catagory. I wish you well on this journey and for you to take notice of the red flags, and pay heed to them.
