Mnot, actually "and the band played on" was a book, heavily researched and footnoted. It was ten years later made into a crappy tv movie.....
But that has nothing to do with the Homosexuall community in San fransisco refusing and even activley opposing moves to curtail the spread of AIDS in the Bathouse tourism industry, where people were making Millions of dollars a year, (which was real money in the 80s). Which is extensivley documented in the BOOK I referenced.
But it is clear that many people are pretending that if Reagan had spent more money, it would have been cured, which is nonsense.
It also seems clear that some folks took the TV movie you cite as reality.
I was not aware that AIDS had been solved and was no longer a problem, when exactly did that occur?
But thanks for giving another example of left wing media Bias...( the movie you reference)
