Religion is partof who we are. I do not want a person governing me while paying no attention to their own ethics. I do not care WHAT religion my leaders are, or IF they have a religion. I care about their ethical behavoir. for instance, and be forwarned, I am a liberal who liked Palin till she flaked out on her responsibilites. I didn't vote for her, because, well, her opponent was Obama, duh. but her bahavoir in raising a large family, in keeping and raising a grandchild and in doing a good job of being a special needs mom, all spoke to me of ethics I could appreciate in a person and a politican. Well, you know, unless they were running agains Obama.

"Obama is a Muslim" - after all given his direct ancestry is just as white as it is black, we cant really say what we mean, can we? Naked, racism is vile, offensive and above all stupid, to a point where but for its dangers it should be funny; its refinement by obfuscation makes it no different, but does perhaps provide for increased comedic potential regarding its creators. Well, as much as all the wasted attention serves to distract from more pragmatic issues to consider, over the course of the year results would indicate Obama is not; an administrator, strategist, motivator, economist, or leader. Still a damn good preacher of empty rhetoric though.
