AA and NA are free. You may not get ALL the counseling you need from them, but it's a place to start.
Until you get your life straightened out, the last thing you want to be worrying about is finding a potential baby mama.
This is what I was going to point out - I think the OP said he's working on his sobriety, and I believe free support groups will offer him as much as he's willing to accept so long as he's willing to ask for help. I'm sure there are people there that can understand and empathize and give advice without charging money?

Right Geoff....none of us have ever had a serious addiction...so glad you did not pawn your crystal ball for a fix.

Lets talk about addiction. One i doubt you have tried to quit. One I have relapsed from over and over. Its supposedly harder to quit than heroine or a difficult as it binds to your nervous system receptors. Cigarette addiction. Today is the first day of my 5th attempt to quit in 2009. I relapsed after many years. But you know what? Im here fighting it. I am doing it myself. Im not blaming others for where I find my life. I dont lash out though, I am shaking right now. Im doing what I need to do as as you can tell I keep trying even when I fail. Just a thought to ponder in the poor me attitude.
