What drew my attention to your question, was your desire since 'AGES' to be a sub. I would suspect that from your early age (maybe as far back as school), you got a very special feeling (which you did not understand) when you were ordered by your seniors or teachers and you were very happy to run obey them and run chores for them; and when you carried out the tasks correctly, it made you proud and wanting more of the same. Images of being a servant to someone you wanted as your mentor brought a kind of almost inner joy which often moved you to tears followed by sexual arousal like never experienced "normally". If my analysis is correct then you are a natural sub, who needs someone to take charge of you at least in your personal life as you are tired of being the authority in your other sphere of life (work). You just want someone to control, take care and bring out that inner need to be humble and servile. In other words you need a true Dom to match your natural born submissive tendencies.
