bibiswitch -> insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 1:18:15 AM)

why would a woman crave an obedient male partner?

maybe because she is insecure that if he is not obedient, she will not be able to manage him? or he will hurt her, abandon her, etc?

maybe she really needs to serve, but she does so, only being on top, because she is afraid to serve from the bottom? doesn't she serve her partner when she punishes him, teases him, etc? the fact that these actions seem negative, one must understand that for a masochist/slave/etc these are servitude! the person who punishes a masochist, actually serves the masochist and his masochistic needs, besides it is commonly claimed that the submissive has the power

maybe because she is not capable to inspire submission and to make a normal (non-submissive) man to obey and serve her? and she just want someone who is already a slave?

maybe because the obedience of a male is the precondition that she will feel unique, supreme, etc? isn't this pathetic if it happens? if she bases her supremacy on the obedience of slaves, isn't this pathetic? wouldn't be more valid to base her supremacy to others than slaves?

How's that judgmental thing working there for you?

CherokeeRose2 -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 4:38:03 AM)

If that were true, wouldn't that be the same for ANY dominant, both male AND female?

CarrieO -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 6:06:03 AM)

Why would some random internet poster feel the need to post such childish and insecure blather all while hiding behind an inactive profile.

This reeks of spilt milk and frustration.

Tantriqu -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 6:41:16 AM)

Whiny twitchy switchy, I make 'normal' non-submissive men kneel ALL the time; they deeply love it, I deeply love it, and it's ALL 'normal'.

There's an Aussie phrase called 'spat the dummie', when temper-tantruming adults start wailing when their soother can no longer contain their entitlement. you sound as if you were rejected by a Domme, so, [sm=AttentionWhore.gif], shove your Nuk back in and figger out what behaviour of yours you should be changing.

Oh, I see you got one of those toy psych diplomas they had on sale at Walgreen's last week for $1.99.

Oh you silly little 'dominant' female. Don't you know anything? Not having a penis and testicles already makes us inferior, and we're just deluding ourselves with our little fantasies. This kind person has just enlightened us, that's all.

Crap! I paid full price the week before. So much for throwing away a whole $3.75. Well, considering the fact that I paid full price, I feel my education was worth a lot more than those who only bought the discounted version.

Venatrix -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 7:41:48 AM)

I hope that's true, LS. I hear they marked them down because people were going around spouting all sorts of ridiculous psychoanalytical drivel; wound up making themselves look completely foolish. But maybe you got the super-deluxe, non-rubbish-spouting version for the extra money?

LadyPact -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 8:24:12 AM)

It's a real shame that the questions had to be framed in such an inflammatory way.  Some of what is here could have made for some very interesting discussion had it not waded into the 'all females secretly want to serve' malarky that some people have as their own personal agenda and make thinly veiled attempts to turn other people into their image of what D/s is all about.  Had some of these same questions been asked with the genders reversed, I think the male Dominants around here would have had the same reaction as the posters above.

If you really think that Dominance is really all wrapped up in the fact of whether or not someone has a penis, you have a heck of a lot to learn, OP.  Maybe it's time for you to step away from the computer, go out into the real world, and attend a munch.  I'm sure some people there could help to educate you.

Gi' us a wee example. So, perhaps a human submitting to the will of another is only penultimate in its majesty.

I have seen people train fleas and display them on television, so I suppose that is a Mastery of that media as well as the fleas, all simultaneous.

Other than that you are diddling yourself mentally, in the rhetorical, logical and hyperbolic senses.

I wouldn't give it a whit more consideration than it deserves.

I love that phrase (clause?). It makes me smile.

And don't forget our special range of Insta-subs. You just put on latex and they throw themselves at your feet.

Does this come with a spatula to scrape them off when I'm done with their sorry asses? ;-)

Holy cow, I haven't been pestered with any latex fetishists in a long time. Completely off topic, but realizing this has made me a little bit happier today. [:)]

What drivel. My Lady is a  Tai Chi Black Belt and certified instructor. She could easily "manage" anyone physically. But she's DOMINANT so she doesn't have to. She asks for and receives submission.

hardbodysub -> RE: insecurity and fear (12/20/2009 1:22:52 PM)

i think the question you're trying to ask makes a little sense, actually. Unfortunately your writing (and/or thinking) are so disjointed that the idea is very poorly communicated.

That makes no sense to me.  If a man obeys and serve a woman, then he's by definition a submissive man, whether or not he started out as 'normal'.
