Ever notice that in the next generation, and ds9, roddenberry continiued his culture representaion. The russian empire reformed, the Klingon empire reformed, the begorans were the Isralites, cardasion were islamic nation.

Both Kirk and Picard had their points...Kirk was the beam down and get the girl type. An actually Captain was Picard, in fact a book on that management style was made. One Captain I really did love was Sissco of DS9 and The Defiant. Oh I do have a few Star Trek Customs as well.

Jean Luke Picard, by far, the only person I feel would actually make me consider being a switch.

Picard - because he reads Shakespeare. If Picard and Kirk got into a fight Picard would win because all he would have to do is say "Mister. Worf" and then Worf would proceed to kick Kirk's flabby ass.
