You don't want to help her if she really is a con artist, you don't want to diss her if she isn't, and really the most important thing is for you to get a better sense of how this whole online dating thing works, so you can spend your time courting women who might be interested in you for real.

Lowly, Another little thing I've noticed: when a con-artist is caught out, they often fire a volley of furious insults at the catcher. They're angry at being caught and they also want to make you think that you've got them appallingly, shamefully, wrong. It is, of course, bluster and further proof that you've sussed them. Someone who's genuine would simply tut, then think of a way to put your fears at rest. Nothinham Forest. Chuckle. I love it. I live just next to PoliteSub's (occasional) home in Sheffield Wednesday - in Wanderers, Wolverhampton.
