I don't think Gorean philosophy is inherently misogynstic, it's androcentric, which isn't quite the same thing: it isn't saying women are worthless, it's just saying men are worth more. Given that this is not empirically defensible however, means that insights derived from such a philosophy are often going to be equally flawed. It was, in fact, a culturewide phenomena up until the sexual revolution, and there remain substantial pockets of resistance. So, while androcentrism is not itself inherently misogynistic - in fact many of our notions of chivalry and romanticism derive from it as well (infantilization) it often leads to what amounts to de facto mindset that closely resembles misogyny - i.e., males tend to worship physical strength over intelligence, jocks are more valuable than nerds (and women often reinforce this), thus a man lacking in physical courage or strength is a "pussy" - although I challenge any man here to squeeze a softball out his ass - pussy is tough - it handles shit that makes cock shrivel - just sayin'. In any case, it's that sort of stealth misogyny that bugs me, the romantic White Knight, the defender of feminine virtue - whom you will almost invariably discover considers comparing you to a woman the vilest of all the insults he can muster. But, things being what they are, there are plenty of woman who get a lot of utility out letting men think they're smarter and tougher. Somehow, it manages to work out for the most part, go figure.

We invented castle law and the 'he needed killin' defense. Furthermore, I made no comment whatsoever about you defending yourself. However, you don't need a photo of you breaking the most basic gun safety rules to show you can defend yourself. All that does is show that you are incapable of safe gun use. Honestly, I'd expect this kind of posturing from an adolescent male, but not a middle-aged woman. So sad.
