Yes, you do keep interfering with your own process.

But I will leave you in peace..and you go on with your bad self, sparky.

ty, lets agree to disagree and not bother one another

i'm still willing to engage you in thoughtful debate if it doesn't degenerate in a personal critique

your choice

Actually I wish LadyPact would write a book on BDSM relationships. She has always been one that I have read her posts in earnest, because she talks with you  verses at you, and offers her opinion. She acts very much like a dominant personality that I am comfortable with. One who speaks 'her' truth, and not beating it into others as 'their' truth. I have great respect for her. Many of her posts have been of helped to me, including those i script under oceanwynds and wisdom.

I must say this is one of the strangest split-personality threads I have seen on these boards recently...really two threads intertwined and yet disjointed. In one, people trying to answer the OP's question and make informative contributions, and in the other the OP flailing widely about arms and legs kicking out

and maybe that works for you, and i respect that

but what is not understood here it seems is that i have another way that works for me and for those that think as i do, there are some you know

i just want to be free of this encumbrance to seek what i seek

i've seen many like lpack over the years and they seem happy in their sexuality and more power to them

now i want the same consideration

LadyPact -> RE: early mistakes (1/1/2010 2:05:13 PM)

I just wanted to say thank you, wisdom.  All of the other folks, too.

Btw, osf, I'm sure it's just an oversite, but it's Pact.  LadyP or LP works.  Heck, I'll even settle for pact, but that tends to get confusing when My husband is logged on.  No offense taken.  I'm sure it was just a mistake.

Though I am curious as to why you would think I am hindering you finding what you seek.

JBGolden -> RE: early mistakes (1/1/2010 2:05:58 PM)

But considering you come on and complain about not being able to find somebody is it *really* working?

wisdomtogive -> RE: early mistakes (1/1/2010 2:06:10 PM)

I also have a great deal of respect for a poster starting a thread, who doesn't bash someone because they too are giving advice. Your question is about what are your earliest mistakes. This question in it self would, imho, generate advice to anyone posting here. Heck I given you advice, without being asked. No skin off my nose if you take it or not, sometimes someone else might find the advice just what they are looking for. You started a thread be gracious enough to let people respond. You do not need to accept advice but at least try being a good sport. To try to control your threads is useless, since this is not in your control. Again my advice is if this is bothering you, step away. You are not helping anyone, who cannot wait a day or two for your 'expertise'. You claim to be helping newbee's and i am claiming again to inform newbies this is a prime example of you cant always trust that someone with a lot of posts knows what they are talking about. You keep proving my point over and over...the sad thing is you don't see it. You think you are on a white horse saving newbees...sigh....all i am seeing is you proving that you are one of those..'domie doms'. ...one who cant take any responsibility for themselves.

nighthawk3569 -> RE: early mistakes (1/1/2010 2:08:19 PM)

one of the hardest lessons for a new dom to learn is accepting service

i was too gentlemanly and always wanting to help her when she knew instinctively that that's not the way it should be, she knew instinctively what i had yet to learn

As a Top/Dom/Master/whatever, that's something you should have known, 'instinctively', too. Otherwise, you're just a wannabe, pretending to be whatever you elect to call yourself...probably in search of quick, kinky sex.

it was made clear early on it was to share with newbes

but her unwanted advice was directed at me

i don't claim to be helping any body , just offering my opinion, take it or leave it

i'm not out to save anybody and i have made that perfectly clear in several posts here and there

and my horses are chestnut and have not been ridden in years

and i want all the responsibility for my self i don't need help in unwanted advice

Please hide anyone you no longer wish to hear from.  You do that by hitting the "Hide" icon at the left-hand side of the post you are concerned about.

Osf, on page 2 of this very thread, you said to me:
quote:

if you don't like my ideas ignore them and ignore the threads i start, that's what i do

Since you don't want to take advice from anyone else, how about taking your own and ignoring the posts/ posters that you don't like?

i earnestly try not to be petty, don't always achieve it but i try

and i'm willing to get along with anybody as long as it's reciprocated

OMFG, you are a lost soul, beyond anyone's help. You made your bed here, go lie in it alone.

And for the record, you are seriously a contender for the MOST DENSE poster on CM and there have been many over the years.

Your negativity has so permeated every fiber of your being that you are unable to get out of your own way.

Blatant disrespect for people you interact with online or in person, is not tolerated.

I may have engaged in some bad posting behavior in the past, but I learn from my errors, unlike you.

Boasting how you've learned all the while engaging in the said "past behavior".

Wow.[:D]
