Yet another player...

Ok, here is my question.  What is the deal with all the players on this site?  Are they just out to hurt people?  I can count on 1 hand how many TRUE friends that I have made on this site.
I was stupid enough to let someone into my life to help me with some guidance that I need, and have figured out that he too was nothing more than a player. It gets old getting hurt, that's for sure!

Ok, so other than that, how is everyone's New Year going thus far???
And here's a question of the day: Why is it when you go to Walmart for 3 items you come out with 10 bags of stuff you DON'T need, but thought you did??? <---- tries to lighten mood & lift spirits a bit!

I'm not saying you attract users; I'm saying that perhaps you are being less than careful about your screening process. I've only had good luck on this site and on the b site.

Walgreens is my issue. I walk in there, and they have all these tables set up between the isles, JUST FOR ME, filled with all maner of stuff I didn't know I needed till I walked in there! How did they know, when I didn't? ( One clue might be in the fact that I not only didn't know I needed that stuff, I didn't even know most of it eXisted!)

This is a group of people. Like every group, it has it's assholes. I'm sorry you haven't made friends here. My experience has been radically different.

This is why I tend to advise against people taking mentors. As in all walks of life, it's easy to abuse a position of trust and on the internet, it's very easy to appear trust-worthy.
