They are rather timeless so if I was inundated with shoes, that would be ok!

If by true friends, you use the definition of "people who are who they say they are and are not out to manipulate you for their own gain", I would say I've made about 60-70 friends, in person, on this site (that was my count on that other thread, I think).  There's even more that I haven't met yet.

Being a truck driver, I'm kind of surprised you haven't had the opportunity to meet more people who are of the grounded variety.

I have all these little rules, that allow me to admit what I know in my heart - this person is not a match for me. Most the rules are not hard and fast, firm in concrete rules. On a regular basis, I make exceptions. every time I do, so far, at least, it proves the validity of the rule once again.

Like, I don't give out my chat ID on day one of someone writing me. Then, every now and then, I will... cuase they seem nice, and they say they hate the email thing, and chat is better for them.... then i sit here, staring at the chat window, thinking, 'oh, yeah, that's why i don't give out my chat ID quickly.... now I remeber..."

My grandfather once terrorized the other Wallymart customers on one of those scooters. The goofy grin on his face was priceless.
