Status: offline 		Sporting new ink which I got for Xmas, I was just curious as to how many folks around these parts are sporting BDSM related ink? My new ink is not BDSM related (it's a feather quill with a drop of ink dripping off the end and located behind my right ear.. so quite small) although I do have BDSM related ink around my ankle.. a chain held together with Himself's first initial in a capital letter script. For those who enjoy ink, have you had any art applied that relates to your interest in BDSM or perhaps to symbolize an M/s or D/s relationship? Ink has to have a lot of meaning for me to apply it at all (or it has to be ordered by Himself) and while I would love lots more ink if it was special and had meaning, Himself has just one more tat in mind for me at this point and I will be happy with whatever he decides me to get or allows me to get. Anyone who would like to share pics is more than welcome in this thread as well!

Status: offline 		the only ink He sports is the tattoo He got when we both got tattoo'ed with a the kanji representation for Master (for Him on His left arm) and slave (for this slave, on her lower back).
 
this slave has a small "stoner-dot" on her left hand, which she received in her early twenties when she asked her husband at the time if the self-tatooing he was engaging in hurt...he said "give me your hand" to which this slave thought he was going to put it over his that was doing the work, to show that it wasn't really going that deep...instead he stuck the tattoo needle in the flesh of her hand above the spot where the forefinger and thumb come together and said..."well, does it?"...which has nothing whatsoever to do with BDSM.

Status: offline 		I have full sleeves, a large backpiece, and assorted other tattoos. None are bdsm related though I did go get tattooed for my birthday b/c I had no one to spank me, LOL...

Status: offline 		I have kanji for "master" on my left shoulder and kanji for "fire" on my right, both on my back. The master kanji doesn't really represent a noun, it's an adjective (I think). More of a, "Master of...". Still, it's popular and I like it. The fire kanji can also mean "Tuesday." Am I Master of Tuesday??? LOL

Anyway, my tattoo isn't BDSM related but is strongly symbolic of me and us. It's Mary Jane and Peter Parker on their wedding day. I've lost a lot of weight and part of my goal was to be able to cosplay her. Peter is also what I lovingly call a "geek dominant", all sweet and a little shy till they get the green light... and you give it and you are webbed to the fucking ceiling! I got it shortly after our wedding and I honestly couldn't be happier with it.

You may not be believe me but I found the tattooing experience actually rather pleasent and enjoyable. It hurt in the way a deep massage hurts and was quite easy to lay there and joke around with my friends, tattoo artist and owner despite that I was doing a four hour sitting.

I believe you.  But, i've seen hard-core masochists, and grown men, cry like babies while getting their tattoos.  I think I'm going to just be content with my freckles decorating my skin :)

Were they in particularly sensitive spots or something? I guess everyone is different but it just seems odd to me (not that I don't believe you!) that hard-core masos would cry over something where I (a self confessed wimp outside of scenes) was just kinda "Oh? That's it?". I mean it did hurt, some spots more than others, but it was just kinda "Ok. Definately not pleasent but better than getting a shot."

I'm honestly looking forward to getting it touched up in areas where the ink didn't quite go in smoothly.

Status: offline 		I know what you mean, Aqua. The tat behind the ear.. almost no pain at all and it rather surprised me. (My daughter also got ink behind her ear.. a treble clef and it turned out really well). The one on my ankle though? As my friend Kimmy says.. it was a right painful mother of a bitch! ::laughs:: I didn't cry though.. just sweat a little. ::laughs::

Status: offline 		Master gave me my first tattoo 8 years ago and I have many tats, all BDSM related, all VERY carefully chosen by Master not only for what they symbolize but He also chooses the location of each tat as well as the size. I'm VERY proud of all His marks and while not all of them are visible publicly I'm always aware of their meaning to Master and to me.
