I saw the Iguana thing ... saves hunting 'em I reckon ... a little southern fried batter and I'm sure they'll taste fine.
Greedy will be fine here ... once introduced to the benefits of Guinness and Dog. (not to mention that she has direct access to expert advice on apple based mood enhancingf vitamin C drinks available here [:D])

ah GT - you'll be fine; harsh north European winters are in your blood, if not close enough in your ancestry to get you over here by right!

What I cant understand is why its so difficult for you? Every other night we hear of some fake wedding scam being discovered over here, with Nigerians et al being married off to Romanian gypsies to get EU residency and so British residency.

Without a complete readthru, I have to agree with you LE. Outside right now is 16F. I don't know what it is in Celsius. I don't have a coat, just a windbreaker for a jacket. We got water dripping in the sinks, stocked up on food and other staples and a few DVDs to entertain us. Schools are doing a lets see if it is going to sleet and all that mess. But then, this is Texas so any snow will not build up (except for the Panhandle and Jeff's house).

I am doing my banking and perving the boards for a while. Seems like I am the only one up (thanks insomnia!). I am bringing that one up with my caseworker on Monday.

16F is -9 centigrade - pretty damned cold for Texas alright I should have thought!

Remember - "sleep is for the weak" - a motto I too am currently living up to.

LE.. I wish I knew why it was being so difficult.   Every step we take is being stonewalled by automated systems, or internet bullshit.  IN THEORY, it shouldnt be that hard for me to get there.   IN practice, though... *sighs*

I do NOT own enough clothing to be warm in those temps.l Good thing my husband is warmblooded.

How are the kittehs?>

LadyEllen -> RE: fed up with the snow (1/8/2010 2:56:46 PM)

Kitties all fine GT (though no sign of any of the wanderers returning - hope they found someone to take them in). Most of them have never seen snow so theyre really quite funny to watch! Whats amazing me is that theyre all going out to do their toilet even though there are litter trays everywhere through the house. Also interesting when they come in and jump up for a warm up cuddle with their paws cold and wet and their tails too!

Do you have an immigration adviser?

Sighhh, I woke up this morning to find it snowing in MS. I have to load in Bogalusa, LA & head for the frozen tundra of Evansville, IN for 7a.m. Monday morning. Ugggg oh yes, I'm sooo looking forward to frozen fingers & toes yet again sighhhhh
