I am wondering how other people (whether pro or not) deal with clients/play partners who may pose a risk like law enforcement officers or politicians. For instance, I had a client who worked for the sheriff's department and he made me nervous because he would talk as though we were going to get married (which was never going to happen,) What steps do you take to try to protect yourself against potential fall out?

Pro Mistressing will always carry risks. In the UK for example you can mistress on your own provided your not doing anything considered illegal (like hurting someone!!) but if you have a second Mistress present at the same time as a paying client, you could be classed as running a brothel and that can get you in loads of shit. I think you have to use your instinct when it comes to booking sessions over the phone with a new client. If something tells you this is fishy then use your instincts and don't do the session but at the same time be careful you don't get paranoid. I went through a period of being paranoid about who was calling me after two friends of mine (both local mistresses) were arrested because they were caught working together. Its important that you know and understand the law regarding mistressing within your area. Try not to work from home or at least tell clients this is not where you live and be aware of who you tell what. I had a client that became really helpful and because he was a regular and someone I considered a good guy, we became friends. When he told me he loved me, wanted to leave his wife and run away with me I cooled things off and the result of that was for him to come back at me with all sorts of threats. The threats were based on the information I had unwittingly given him and he knew too much about me. I had given him ammunition and that was a very bad move on my part. I had another regular show his violent schizophrenia after years of believing he was as sound as a pound! but that is a risk we take if we are going to let strange men into our dungeons. If your going to pro then get yourself a secretary and let that secretary preferably be a well built t-girl.

The easiest way to protect yourself with high risk clients would be to avoid them completely.... If you don't book them you should not find yourself having an issue with them.

But how do you know they are high risks before they have told you? and what exactly is a high risk? To me a high risk is a cop in disguise but then Im not going to know he's in disguise till he's put the cuffs on me! Mental illness that could cause danger to myself or himself and Im probably not going to see that straight away and someone who wants to rob me or rape me and again he's probably going to be pretty convincing that he's a genuine client till its too late. I had a number of police clients, a few solicitors and a few barristers too. Its not something they told me with the initial phone call, its something they told me once they had been coming to me for a few sessions and by that time trusted me. I didn't consider them a risk. I considered them an asset.

If you are taking on professional clients, the good old background check can be your friend. Otherwise, why should someone's profession make them a higher risk? Unless you are talking about a drug dealer or something.

Of course not all LE and such pose a risk. But it is not that uncommon for clients to start fantasizing unrealistically and when things don't match those fantasies things can end badly. I have had that happen about 4 times. I usually don't know someone's profession when they first start seeing me but usually find those kinds of things out by the 5 or 6th visit. There are certainly other risk factors like mental illness too- that is just one example. Contrary to most people's perceptions, I have had more negative experiences with non-clients. The majority of men I see are extremely kind, considerate, and loyal. I have made many good friends and would not give up my experiences for anything.

Hi. Keep proof the cop had a session with you. To avoid future problems to begin with ask upfront if they're a cop. Legally they have to disclose it and cannot lie about it. Hope that helps.

Yep cops can be on a undercover sting and arrest you this is when they are on the job and the job is busting you. Also if a stranger asks you "Are you a Pro Dom?" are you inclined to answer said stranger truthfully?

The USA has 50 states, and 50 sets of laws, but something that has been vetted before the Supreme Court, and thus over rides those 50 sets is that cops do not have to identify themselves to citizens that they are a police officer when they are engaged in an active investigation. You can ask someone point blank if they are a policeman, and they can say no, and then they can arrest you when you break the law in front of them..... Hookers ask the question often because they think it sets up an entrapment defense, but the laws are very clear, the cops have to entice you into doing a criminal act you would not do without their enticement. A hooker who would be taking clients either way cannot be entrapped by an undercover cop and he is under no legal compulsion to identify himself as a cop while he is investigating her

I offered to be quite generous to make it worth your time ( I think I offered you a grand for a strap-on sessions ) , and yet you still would not even consider me. Given this behavior, I can certainly understand why she might have got signals that were uncomfortable and not followed up with you. Good instincts on her part I would say.
