Status: offline 		Nasa Meeting -  Ok, some concerns have been aired that it may be too cold to launch today, and the o-rings may not properly seal. Any thoughts on that Homer?

O-ring expert Homer:  Not a chance in hell!!! Those o-rings are made in Japan. Their specs say we can launch all the way down to 0 degrees without any concerns. I can vouch for them personally. I've put 50,000 miles on my Honda and never had to change the oil yet.

Fact: In the Technical order's table of contents it specifically says all temperatures are given in celsius. Homer thought it was 0 degrees farenheit. This whole incident was covered up just to protect a successful tv show based on Homer's life, and the Japanese manufacturing reputation.

History is stranger than fiction.
