Linda, My condolences to you and everyone in your family, I am shocked this happened and can't believe it. It crossed my mind, briefly, he might have put me on ignore because I started too many threads and that's why I wasn't seeing him on the boards but I reconsidered because that just wasn't his personality to get mad. After thinking that, I figured he was on a nice vacation in a far away place like Hawaii, maybe for a month. It never crossed my mind his death was a possibility. It's the kind of news that makes me want to punch God in the stomach. I am definitely going to miss his objectivity because ideology didn't matter to him and he was always on the side of truth and advocating the right or best course of action regardless of ideology; I believe people would call that being pragmatic. I'm also definitely going to miss his support because there were times I started a thread about something and others didn't like it and he came to my defense. I can't say I ever disagreed with the man on any issue because I saw him as being completely objective. I was reading other people's comments and somebody said that words are inadequate. That is so true and it's also ironic because Jeff was so articulate and eloquent. Finally, this reminds me a lot of when we lost Tim Russert, it was also unexpected and a lot of people respected him and missed him too. I would like to think if he is with Tim Russert they are having fun together debating the issues. Bill
