I am naturally on the thin side, so if anything, my ex used to tease me into eating more. (He knew that i was frustrated with the "frail little girl" image i've projected most of my life.) On the exercise side, we both enjoyed the exhaustion and soreness, and inflicting it upon each other. He had a wrestler's upper body, but no endurance in his legs; i had a long-distance runner/hiker/cyclist's legs, but the whimpiest everything-else. So we worked on each other's weaknesses. Plus we both get cranky without sufficient activity, so it was important to make sure each was getting enough exercise. It was a lot of fun. He was so cute all flushed and gasping for breath while trying to keep up with me; or his look of exasperation when i'd make him do another 20 pushups with my feet propped upon the small of his back. Some of the routines he made me do were really really hot. My favorite was when he'd suddenly approach me from behind and order me to lift my arms against him pushing them in. It was a surprisingly effective exercise, and so much sexier than lifting weights, since i could feel his strength restraining me, him just a few inches behind me, his breath on my neck, and his encouragement and threats right in my ear. (For those who didn't know or couldn't tell, it was a double-switch relationship.) Sigh, the things to miss.....
