What happens when you walk into a crowded room full of people having discussions about various topics?  Do you walk from group to group, saying hello while listening to get a clearer picture of what's being talked about...maybe even intergecting your own opinion now and then?  Or, do you find the nearest coffee table to stand on and announce to all the folks within earshot "Look at me...!" and then get annoyed when they either ignore you or tell you how inappropriate your behavior is?

I tend to think of the CM forums as a group of crowded rooms.  It may help you, OP, to do the same.

Status: offline 		Why do new members treat the regular posters like crap? I mean, they come in and bitch at us about many things. They come in and expect us to treat them like little queens and kings. They come in expecting us to be on our knee's, humbly ready to give them all the fished for compliments and self imposed, due of some sort. They want to teach us something we already know and warn us of the bad guys out there.

When they don't get what they thought they should... which typically means... some high regard or place in our lives... then they bitch more!

What do you want? Hey... new kid on the block... we offer you praises for all you do, you almighty one? Is that what you are expecting? You want us to treat you as if you are doing nothing we or the site can see as wrong and not tell you... just worship you for all you try to give us?

Naw...doesn't work that way... as you can clearly see. But is it the regulars that post or is it the new person expecting far too much and to be catered to because THEY think it is only fitting?

Status: offline 		To be able to treat new members differently I'd have to know how you spot new members, I never assume anyone is that new. Even if they are new chances are they sound exactly like someone else already so I just assume they are the same person even if they aren’t. I can only afford to learn so many things about each person here so I have to lump people together into convenient groups with labels and all the other stuff people hate.

I concur with NZ in terms of the great photography of the op however as I’m not as highbrow as NZ I can only agree with him up until the point I started to not understand what he was saying about it.
