Yeah Pat Robertson s a hateful stupid old man. That we already know. I don't think the real problem is the bile that falls from the lips of Pat and those like him. It's the mind boggling number of people who are willing to listen to and believe them.

What amazes me is how many people thought this nutcase was Presidential material. He made a pretty strong showing against the elder Bush in the 1988 Republican primary.

So there is a Robertson and a LaRouche, and we hope neither of the other will be held up as the shining light of the party they identify themselves with, because not even rabid party machinery is even in the warming house with these fools.

Well, that's the problem with the Democrats in a nutshell, isn't it? They'll have anybody so long as they're not a Republican. If there was more of a consensus among the party, maybe the Republicans wouldn't have been able to run them so ragged over this healthcare bill...

I have read LaRouche literature deposited on my college campus. It does not seem pro-democrat... in fact I would say he was very anti-establishment and very crazy. I have never met a democrat that thought well of him..
