ORIGINAL: Musicmystery Further, Come on, she's just stating reality. If you're an alcoholic, and you work in a bar, either come to terms with it or work somewhere else. If you hate smoking, and you work in a convenience store, same thing. This is really a measure of the growing religious intolerance in the U.S. Refusing treatment is more about insisting other people adopt your views than practicing your own. If for whatever reason you're unable to do the job, then of course, it's time to change employment. Live is short enough. Work at something you believe in. I have to agree here.. they know going in what may be expected in the environment of an ER. If they can not, for what ever reason perform those actions called for then they should not work there. They should find a provider who does not offer the services in question. This choice must be made by the person and the person or persons employing them... and is no business of a government official. That though is in the land of Common Sense... and that is not were we live. No people will take this as a personal slam on the faithful of the Catholic Church rather then look at the reason behind it. There are plenty more note worthy gaffs from Coakley and her people to hang a hat on... the drum beating on this one is well.. weak.
