I like the flakes covered in chocolate - luxury flakes. The chocolate covering stops the flake from crumbling into the boobage.

My personal favourite is dairy milk chocolate with crunchie pieces. Availible in New Zealand, and i think, now in Aussie. Absolutely delicious - and a good reason why I gain weight when i visit NZ.

and the cadburys in NZ tastes differently than that in the US. What is that about?

I think its something to do with the milk fats allowed in the recipe, someone else mentioned it earlier
cadbury wasnt allowed to use 1 and a half glass of full milk, cos of the fats?
Im sure someone will put me right

Now I'll be honest - "chocolate confectionery" (which is what Cadbury makes, they dont make chocolate as such) generally makes me feel quite sick. The problem is the amount of sugar they put into their product, but by far the worse culprits in this regard are Nestle and Rowntree.

But Cadbury's flake is another matter. The accidental product (created when a batch of something else went very wrong) is just wonderful, and thats that. Its only problem is the association with a certain sexual act such that the guys at the shop have to suppress their giggles whenever I buy one (or two, or three).

Tastes like a deliciously chocolate newly resurrected Jesus Christ. Just the way he is supposed to be worshipped per the bible.  Brown and such a sweet boy.

I always found the idea of chocolate crosses with little candy roses on them a bit weird.  But that never prevented me from indulging.

OMG that does NOT look like any Cadbury product I have ever seen in the store!!!!!

The stuff available here just looks horrid. I've never bought it. And Hershey does taste like vomit. Dove's dark Promises are as low brow as I will go dammit. Or Lindt Lindor.

Course I won't stone you, silly  . Cadbury's for when I'm feeling proletarian  .

Otherwise, I thought it was funny how Hershey's was described by experts as tasting like a mixture of baby vomit and laundry detergent.

Holy jeebus!  THAT'S what it tastes like!  I never really thought of those two combined specifically, but yes, yes it does!  I hate that crap.

They better not even think of fucking with the coveted chocolate covered crack that is the cadbury egg.
(well, any more then it's been fucked with now)

God have mercy on the fools who stand between me and my sweet chocolatey cream filled fix

God, I haven't had a 99 in ages!  Also, jelly babies!  Someone, please!!!! Send me one of those 3kg bags of Jelly Babies!  What is on those things anyway?  Heroin?  It must be that and not powdered sugar, as addictive as they are.

Instant toothache Pyro; enjoy it whilst you can

In the meantime a bit of trivia, the creme egg of course was launched following accusations of sexism against Cadbury on account of the flake thing. You can always rely on a man who savours his creme egg ladies.

Oh I can't eat a flake and not pull a pouty face making sure hit load of it falls in my cleavage.

Flake has always been my least favourite of all Cadbury's confections, because it seems to absorb the 'essence' of every other product in the grocery, but now that you said this I am craving one ... and I'm fanning myself. It's suddenly warm in here now.

OK, now that DOES look good!

They taste best on a summers day in an ice cream cone.

Kraft bought out Terrys chocolate factory and promised it would stay in York. A few years later it was moved to Poland. I expect Cadburys to go the same way. Sadly this is globalisation for you.
