quote:
ORIGINAL: DesFIP It can be a long term friend who you are compatible with as friends, and sexually, but not in a romantic sense. With whom, when neither of you are otherwise in a relationship you not only go to dinner and the movies as friends do, but also have sex with. And when one of you is in a relationship, you drop the sex part and still go out to the movies with your friend and his/her new partner. yup, exactly. When I first moved to Boston I found myself with a fuck buddy. He was about 10 years my junior, a hot, in shape, fun guy to hang out with, play video games, go to the bar, go to parties, etc but I didn't feel anything romantic towards him, nor him towards me. We were at completely different points in our lives, and other than socializing and tattoos, we had next to nothing in common. We'd talk about the other people we were seeing, hang out, sometimes we'd have sex, sometimes we wouldn't. No biggie, either way, extremely casual, no expectations. Basically we were friends, and if neither of us had anything better to do, well, why not? We're still good friends, I see him all the time, even though I'm in a relationship now, and he and my Master know each other. Not saying it's for everyone, but if you're single, why shouldn't you be able to be silly and get back rubs, cuddles etc? I'm more comfortable doing that with a friend than some random hook up at a bar...
