See, this is why people should not assign tone to text. What the OP might have been using as a neutral and perhaps gently persuasive tone can be seen by others as being arrogant enough to try and change every one else here. He could be peeved, or he could be trying to be helpful. The point is, text is emotion-less, not more. There are no nuances of body language or facial expression to give the reader any true idea of the tone unless all caps are used to indicate yelling. The specific language used is also an indicator of the mood of the poster. He used the word 'please' people. Not 'will'. Granted, he did put the word 'actively' in all caps, but that happens often instead of the italics button. Note he also put the word 'please' in the beginning, not the end. So it was not an after thought. He also has a few points. It would be time saving. And it would be easier to deal with in searches. But at the same time, this is a forum board, not a journal. So the poster should have put his pseudo-rant into his journals, true. But then, how many people read them? He obviously wanted to have a lot of people read this. Anyway...
