I'm 32 and have a thing for anal.So I bought a strapon because of this.
I've had maybe 5 or 6 people say "oooh!I've always wanted to do that to a man!" and have then said they are up for it.But when it comes down to it they chicken out.

Oh hell... I'll give you the benefit of the doubt and ask you to break this down. Give me a more detailed description of "when it comes down to it." It seems like it could mean anything from them chickening out from showing up for a coffee date to the two of you naked in bed, her working your ass with her finger and deciding she's just not ready to go the full strap-on route. If "when it comes down to it" is closer to the former than the latter than it really is you as a human being, not your ass, that is being rejected. If it's closer to the latter, then I would point out that strapping one on and pumping it up a guy's ass takes a little more thought, preparation and confidence than trying something like, say, being the object of body worship for the first time. The fact that you bought the strap-on prior to locating a woman to use it suggests that you don't present as particularly patient in this regard. Your high expectations and sense of impatience is unlikely to boost the confidence of your (at this point, imaginary) partner.

If it's five or six times out of five or six times, then I wouldn't be titling the thread Getting Let Down.  I would be titling it What the Hell is Wrong with Me?
