What a BRILLIANT idea [8D] .

Is this sarcasm?  I think this is sarcasm.  xD

Oh well.  It was just an idea.  ^^;

'Course it is!

Not for him it is. I know him well enough by now to know that when he reads that suggestion he'll be inking me himself one day. Fuck me. I'm screwed.

edited to add...I can't get that thought out of my head now. It is so freakin hot.

We'll be using the piercing kit I picked up first.

Hallmark holidays like Valentine's Day seem fake and contrived.  I think it would be more meaningful to celebrate the anniversary of when you first met or got collared, or gave him the first hummer.

For some...that's all in the same day. Want a beer?

KatyLied -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:16:49 PM)

I could never do all of that in one day, too exhausting!

Nah, no beer.

Aileen1968 -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:17:52 PM)

Straw?

KatyLied -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:29:46 PM)

Yeah, I knew what you were referring to.  No more dates for a while.

Aileen1968 -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:32:01 PM)

Come to Chicago in August, where men drink beer like real men...

KatyLied -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:54:00 PM)

Is it the first weekend?  If so I have put in request from job #2.   : )  (Aug 6, 7, 8)
If someone asks for a straw, I will either laugh or be outta there!

Aileen1968 -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 6:57:57 PM)

It is. It is.

KatyLied -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 7:04:19 PM)

Yes, planning on being there.  Oh yes.

winterlight -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 7:27:21 PM)

For those of us that have never gotten flowers for any occasion especially Valentines Day it is another day to hate.

It is one of many where the greeting card, florists etc. rack up money because they make people feel guilty or whatever reason you want to put. the flowers? they charge more that day..

I agree with somebody that told me i would be thrilled to get flowers for any reason than because somebody made up a Holiday to make money.

Isn't it how you treat each other every day more important than the fact you have to give something because of some "Day"?

KatyLied -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 7:33:37 PM)

I agree, that is why I think it makes more sense to celebrate something personal to your relationship, an anniversary of something, anything.  Don't follow what everyone else does, it is not special.  And if you need an excuse to eat chocolate, I feel sorry for you, because I eat chocolate anytime I want and don't have to wait for a guy to give it to me.  [:)]

whiteslavebitch -> RE: Are you and your partner (2/3/2010 8:09:35 PM)

No, we don't believe in it.

This is RC

Valentines Day is the worst day of the year.
Whether or not you are in a relationship you are shafted because if you are, you are emotionally blackmailed by society, media and sometimes your partner by 'proving' your love by the extravagance of your gift and if your single then it's a stark reminder you are alone.

Besides, if you are in love, then every day is a celebration of your love, like it is for .dark. and I. Who needs some commercial day to express it?

And this is exactly how MasterK and I feel about it. Thank you RC for expressing the reasoning better than I could this late at night.

My Gal Pal/slave better bring me some chocolate on Valentines Day or else she's getting the paddle!

shouldn't that be....or else she doesn't get the paddle?

Not really. She's not a masochist in the strictest sense of the word. What she enjoys is being "forced" (it's one of those consent to not consent kind of things [:)]) to endure it.

As we say in the industry, everyone gets the tattoo they deserve.  Sorry to sound so snide, but you have no idea how many "my boyfriend did it" tattoos I've seen covered up.  A talented artist commands 150-250 an hour for a reason and it is NOT something you can just buy on ebay and pick up and have any sort of skill or appreciation for the technique, mechanics or simple sterility that goes in to a professional tattoo!

How about this? Have your Master design the tattoo, and go with you to the studio to see the artist that is most capable of executing your tattoo (note, this will in all likelihood not be the dude down the street) your Master set rules before you go for you of how you are allowed to behave while you're getting tattooed, set a trigger word , i.e. every time he calls you darling "how you holding up darling?" You are supposed to get wet, something like that.  There's one example. Hell half the tattoo artists I've known would probably get a kick out of your kinky play.

I've written articles on how to get a the best tattoo, and have personally helped hundreds if not thousands of people find the best possible tattoo for them. So I take this rather seriously.
