domiguy -> RE: An Experiment (2/7/2010 12:31:55 PM)

I don't think she did anything horrible either.  As Jeffff stated it pales in comparison to much of what transpires out here....

Besides she is clearly doable.  If she were any less attractive I am fairly confident that I would have an entirely different perspective on this entire ordeal.

The larger problem is that we don't want  to encourage most of these douchebag doms any further by enlightening them that if they totally recreate themselves they might be able to make "First Contact."

However,  we at Domiguy Industries have been one of the leading consultants in the area of P&D  "proifile development."

Don't ever take the word of subs on how they should be approached...I can tell you that by listening to subs explain to you what your approach should be is paramout to listening to a wildebeast explain to a lion how it prefers to be devoured.

Here is the real Dealio...We have spent millions in documenting the wants, needs and desires of every sub in America.  Categorizing key words and phrases that will promote a response and pave your way straight to the panties.

It is a known fact that every woman loves a good sob story!!!  Chick flicks don't make millions of dollars because they are happy, fluffy, feel good, sports related, honest or overly intelligent movies!!!!

No Fucking way!!!...They tend to be sad stories... Tales that are filled with death and despair and in the end hope and love followed immediately by someone near and dear dying fromm cancer....This is your new profile!!!

So take this in consideration when developing the "wonderful fictitious world" that is your profile....Your wife isn't vanilla!!!....She's dead!!!...Or better yet in a coma, or was on safari and was gored by a rhino. She lingered for three long years after her injury and countless surgeries...And who was there by her side every step of the way???  You Were!!!...Who forfeited their career?... You did!!!  Who sacrificed everything to care for their dying precious  wife???....You Did!!!  Who was there holding her hand and "closed her eyes" when she passed away?????   You Were That Guy!!!... Now you will never be viewed as some callous cheater but have immediately elevated your status up to damn near Godesque proportions....You will be wearing out floggers as well as your spunk supply in nothing flat.....No need to thank me...Just one of the many random acts of kindness that I am known for....Pass it on brothah!!!....Pass it on!!!

Just three easy payments of $39.99 forwarded on to Domiguy Industries and even the most pathetic of Doms can be knee deep in gash and reaping all of the benefits that these subs have to offer.!!!!

Jeffff -> RE: An Experiment (2/7/2010 12:34:35 PM)

My mentoring is all done here.

I pronounce you free to go forth and DOMINATE!

Godspeed!

True enough. I'm not a sub, but all the same. If I was devoured in just the way I prescribed I'd be disappointed, and the loss would be mine. What I think I want isn't what he KNOWS I *need*. I clutter it up, he keeps it clean and simple.

You were beaten up every step of the way, huh?

I have thought about it, and I was too hard on you, and although I had a reason, I should have taken it into private in the first place and not on the board... I am glad you responded to my email juju, and I look forward to reading more of your posts... curiosity is not a sin, it is the sign of a sharp mind....

No. Now I'm being dramatic because it's over [;)] I did, however, write about a billion posts over the last two days, so my eyes, fingers, and back are feeling it... how about we just say that that's what I meant by "feeling it every inch of the way"? [:D]

I think you endured the criticism with grace, and that speaks highly of you in my so very humble opinion.

Maybe by posting some vivid gash shots the mods might say "enough is enough."

Yep, that's what you should do.

Those that have gotten their panties in a bunch over the OPs "experiment" need to remember the below from the OPs post...

I let them know about the experiment...

It's not like they were mislead for hours, days, or weeks... just ONE email, and then they were told the truth.  If someone is that upset/devastated over ONE email, then quite frankly, THEY are the one with the problem.

Chill already, people... hardly the end of the world, yanno?!! [:D]

I did the same thing on Bondage.com years ago and got the same results as you. In retrospect however, I think it was unethical and would not do it again today.

It was incredibly unethical and stupid on both of your parts to do this. Unethical because it does nothing but cultivate suspicion in the minds of those receiving emails. Stupid because that's what anyone is who actually has to go through a charade like that to understand basic and simple concepts of communication.

In some regards, cultivatiing suspicion can be a good thing. It makes people a little less naive to a number of possibilities. A certain degree of balanced suspicion is a good thing. I fail to see where her actions caused a high degree of unreasonable Paranoia. At best this might make people rethink how much they do or don't take for granted.

Her actions are rather insignificant compared to the actions of others in the online world or community. There are many other people cultivating greater levels of suspicion, and causing people actual true harm and distress.

Many people are mislead and decieved for far more wicked intentions and purposes and on greater levels every day on this and other websites.

In many regards, as was pointed out by somebody else. It's best to not reveal that any kind of research was conducted at all, to the research subjects and dare I express this to disclose it to a message board. It would appear that ANY HARM done is from disclosure.

There are times and circumstances where coming clean with The Truth will cause more harm that good. This topic has been covered on the message boards as well.

I am rather taken back by the fact, there have been threads regarding honesty, where it's been established that it is best at times to not Share the Truth when it will cause more harm/damage than good. Yet, see the 100% idealism school of honesty applied here.

As the subject has come up regarding people creative "Fake Profiles" to catch other people in decietful action. At times this tactic has proved itself to be somewhat effective after trying direction communication first. Some people do/have/can resort to creating "Fake profiles" to catch or otherwise bust somebody. I personally can not condone nor condeem this activitity, because it's rather situational.

In terms of the matter of "Honesty" and "Transparency" being a cornerstone of D/s, this is extremely true. However that is within the context of the Relationships formed.

If HONEST and TRANSPARENCY are the cornerstone to being involved with THE COMMUNITY (online or offline), clearly many of us have FAILED. Because We should KEEP NO SECRETS from ANYBODY else that is in the Community. I typed certain words in caps to stress certain words I wished to stress as keywords in what I'm expressing.

Also, I am human. I do have moments when I'm snarky, sarcastic, even moments when I'm even patronizing or even dare I say it condescending. There is a difference between being somewhat condescending over a given issue or topic, and being condescending in regards other people. Yes, I can be patronizing at times. I am somewhat multi-faceted and my bubbles of humanity vary from time to time. I can be very logical at times, along with emotional, or even a combination of both at the same time.

In regards to the ethics of what she did. I do not find fault with. Not when considering her intentions and motives. Not when comparing it to other similar things people do. I still stand by what she did as being a Personal Research Tool to gain Understanding and Empathy, with the hopes of sharing her discovery with other people. In regards to Methods of Science applies. Those methods would have been useful to her, however by no means does the lack of those method diminish the experience.

If she had applied the use of Control Groups and such, it would have meant including a far Greater number of people in her experiment. So I find it rather Ironic, that some people were actually Promoting the idea of Including More People into it, while at the same time slamming the Eithics involved. Fucking contradiction in my personal thought.

"BAD Girl you decieved People, you should have decieved more people to be scientifically correct"....

Can we test the results of this dodgy experiment? ... anybody interested should immediately open a fake profile and start emailing lovely personal messages to their target group... lets compare notes...

i hold my hands up to this community and i have to admit... my name is not really ranja...
can i officially apologise for that here?

Everybody know's that any experiment, it's always best to see if the results can be reproduced to establish it's credit. We'd have to get a more accurate and full description of the critia involved, along with establishing a Control Group (make certain we are within the proper methods of modern science),

Oh course, we would not reveal to any of the subjects such an experiment was ever conducted.

Publishing the results to the message board or not? Perhaps it would be wise for those to be published under Fake account. How about using the fake profile that was used without ever letting on that it was an experiment.

It it appear that some Domi Dude started a thread and saying, "you know what. I have no problems, I emailed 40 women last week and they all replied." Naturally he would mention he had another account with a with a crappy username and profle, that did not do so well. (refering to the control group).

WAH LAH.. nobody would have the slightest clue it had all been an experiment. Then again, this would require a great deal of cunning and deception. (very unethical).

I'm waiting for a Domi Dude to stroll onto the message boards and Start up "this is how you do it" thread. Ahhhh Haahhhhhh.. We Gotcha you, you deceptive unethical wanker responses to spew out. Wait a second, that sounds a little paranoid and over reactive.

Lord, I myself have grown so suspious of every thing online now.

Fuck, I just found out people don't use their real names for their usernames? I'm sort of pissed off that people don't go by their real names on here, fucking unethical. (I'm making a sarcastic joke, and hope nobody takes it literally). Then again, if everybody was forced to use their real names as opposed to screen names, I'm certain it would cut down on a lot of the bullshit.

All the recent admissions by people that have conducted professional or semi-professional research online, I wonder how many of us are mentioned in thesis papers? how many of us have become mere bed post notches in statistical data?

Seriously, I'd like to know who is as far off from the lines of standard deviantion as it gets? I might be interested in meeting them or totally avoiding them at all costs. Why am I'm having mental images of "Pinky and the Brain" inside my mind right now?

Pausing for a moment to look at the dead high horses laying in the wake of this thread. Staring down at my own well blegened horse kicking it some, Yup... It's looking a like hamburger helper.

Can you eat a dead high horse after it's been beaten so badly? Wait, that's sick.

Can we take them to the slaughter house for some quick cash? ... Yummy Doggie Treaties in the end?

Threads like these can get as heated as a Rublican vs. Democratic debate over Gay Marriage. I tend to view it, as live and let live as long as nobody causes anybody any Real True harm. Then again, some things it's best to keep to yourself. Don't ask, Don't Tell...

Hear nothing, See nothing, Speak of nothing... keep the illusion going and don't raise any suspisions.

I confess I'm with the illuminati and we have amassed more Data then that DomiGuy Amature has, including a special report on fuckWits with an IQ of 32 and below.

In all honestly, I'm making fun of some of the negative stuff, that reared itself up in this thread.

It's with this self admission that "I'm being a bit of a Jackass" and probally should execute the "STEP by STEP Cyber Suicide Now" game plan.
