cutiethebomb -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 11:16:26 AM)

Being new to the site, I really have to say.. I hate those rude emails.  I know you are all probably sick of hearing about it, having dealt with this problem for years, but me - it's all still completely fresh in my mind!  And I know nasty and rude some Dom/mes can be, which boggles my mind, because I just can't for the life of me see them bitch anyone out at a supermarket or a store for calling them "hun".. but over the net, apparently that's totaly within the limits of proper behavior.

I'm damn tired of recieving emails from hollow 2-D one liner subs looking for a piece (oh go ahead, ignore my profile!).  Each week I've been here I've become more and more annoyed, and now my replies to requests have gone from "No, not interested, good luck in the search" to "No" to.. umm.. increasing varying degrees of Bitch.  The impression I thus far get of this site is.. the forums are a nice place for good conversation... but the rest of the site might as well be AdultXfinder with kink.  My apologies to those who take this seriously and are looking for true partners.  I'm not here looking for a partner, and the number of things that set off that "gaaahh I dont like that!" alarm in my head is steady increasing in frequency.

Okay, I HATE whining, but I just needed to get that off my chest and I have been dying to since I started here.  I feel better having added my voice.  Phew. :)

MissyRane -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 11:49:30 AM)

Since I changed my profile...I get pms starting with I would've read it(the profile)...but then I get tons of other which start by saying...you're right[:)]nobody reads them[:)]
so why keeping a profile since most of them don't read it[8|] it saves me the frustration of thinking..I STATED THIS IN THE PROFILE YOU SHITHEAD..so now i've no excuse to curse ppl out[:)]

MasterUnknown -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 4:42:06 PM)

Eh, I still wouldn't be so indifferent about it.  I mean, send out those rude emails to a random group to test, and maybe you'll get a 20% response from people who are into it, but... those other 80%?  You just made their day one email shittier.  Maybe you don't care, but I would.

LordKhensu -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 5:39:45 PM)

Just start by saying you are married with vanilla and you wont get any. That should solve the problem. LOL But seriously I am looking just for friends even fortunate to have found a slave though online only. But all too many dont realize that politness and coutesy still have a place in our society or am I an idiot to think so. either way I still practice it but make sure in no uncertain terms to let someone know when I think they are being rude and could imporve their behaviour. Ironic how i get rude emails then! LOL

fastlane -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 5:45:47 PM)

The way I see it. If I'm getting e-mails, rude or friendly, at least I have grabbed someone's attention and it is all good.
Not everyone may like me....but I don't like them either....So, Rock On.

Kevin

MasterUnknown -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 5:59:38 PM)

ahh thats just it though I do not send out any rudes ones.  Well I do not think they are anyways.  I try to send out emails that are well thought out and as polite as possiable.

spankmepink11 -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 6:03:54 PM)

i handle rude emails...the same way i handle rude people....ignore...ignore...ignore...
On the same token...if i get an email from someone who obviously did not take the time to read my profile...to realize that  i am looking for something specific...i think that absolves me from any responsibility of answering them

sultryvoice -> RE: Rude Emails (4/2/2006 6:30:45 PM)

To answer a few questions from a few posts back..I have been into bdsm, D/s for quite a few years. In my life, I have never seen where rudeness online or not was appropriate. Now, I wasn't complaining, just asking. It's gotten now that I am on here for the boards and that's it. If I get a worthwhile email, so much the better. If not..I am just going to use the message boards. See ya'll in the posts!!!

Respectfullly,
sultry

Can someone tell me why on earth a so called Dominant would write a submissive and is very rude to her. I just had someone do this, I wrote him and said he was being rude and why.That was when I sawthat he blocked me. I just don't get it. Am I missing something here?

The first problem I see with your post is assuming because they actually label themselves as Dominant, they might be...yes, you did say 'so called' but still considering they might be...
I may be rude, iconoclastic, sarcastic in response to someone but I sure as hell am not going looking for people to do it to...there are too many people who present themselves for such amusing treatment; the best of course being when they know they are being insulted and don't know how...
As for seeking you out, then blocking you...easy, feeling a bit emasculated are they??? Why bother taking it personally? This is just allowing some, even small degree of power to them...grant them nothing. Period.
I'ld say 'IMHO' but let's just leave it to IMO...

MasterRobert1 -> RE: Rude Emails (4/3/2006 5:42:15 AM)

Too many "Doms" have the mistaken idea that being rude is part of being Dom. Hence all the "on your knees, bitch" approaches to subs.

 ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS IS THE INTERNET, and anybody feels that they can do anyting at anytime!! This tool, the internet, offers great things to us all,. it also allows idiots to show the world who they are!
They come in all shapes and forms, some are even here, as you have seen AND WILL CONTINUE TO SEE AS LONG AS THE NET IS AROUND.Take the good with the bad and believe that through all the mud a few good people will SHINE! .

The great thing about the internet? Anyone can get on.

The bad thing about the internet? Anyone can get on.

;)

Unfortunately, being active on internet forums, working in a call center, or any other exposure to the grand mass of humanity reveals why they call it the LOWEST common denominator.

LittleKitten1986 -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 6:44:10 AM)

Because there are many cruel people in the world, so they decide to write an e-mail to those who seem to be good and sweet submissives. And, in doing so they may feel well i wrote this, i have the upper hand.. it makes them feel bigger. typically those e-mails i ignore, because it hurts their ego's when they do not get a reply.

E110 -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 7:50:01 AM)

because ignorance no know boundaries.. age sex or race.. try not to let it get you down

tineeone4u -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 7:52:49 AM)

I got the same thing from the guy in Canada - told him he was a bit far and then emailed me a really nasty note and then blocked me from responding to his anger...gimme a break...

slavejenna -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 8:15:43 AM)

Even with what my profile says, I still get the occasional rude email.  I politely tell them how to kiss my ass and move on. [;)]

SpankMuhButt -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 10:53:46 AM)

Ahhhh that Canada guy is making his rounds I see. He apparently doesnt respond to men though because my Dom wrote to him...........he read it but never responded

MistressSassy66 -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 11:21:09 AM)

I get those from submissives...
Especially if I say NO to them.Then I get the your fat anyway letter.
Gotta love it...lmao

DaddysLapGirl -> RE: Rude Emails (4/4/2006 11:39:50 AM)

Unfortunately many so called "dominants" who have just discovered bdsm online sincerely believe that submissive means sub-human. These former schoolyard- bully targeted -couldn't get a cheerleader to date- pushed against lockers by school jocks- pencil necked geeks... have grown up, found out about bdsm and feel that "Hey! You mean there's women out there who will let me beat them up, call me Sir and not call the police on me?" This is an unfortunate norm on this or any other site that caters to D/s bdsm. When they write to you their usual one line message of, "U sub? Where loc. Exp? U seek R/L?" and they don't get the response of ..."Please Sir, do with me what You will! Yes! Yes! I will meet you right away! Tonight! my expense! With nipple clamps and ball gag on!"

They lose their pathetic minds. Are catapulted back to high school where the girls laughed at them constantly. And become nasty. If they get this riled up from being rejected online, imagine what they would actually do with some poor woman who agreed to 'play' with them?

I shudder to think.
