I love the rude emails..... I call them journal fodder, it gives me a topic to write and laugh about (sad but true), and it sure takes the sting out of their tails

Ohhh and I take joy in the fact that their parents are going to whack them and send them to bed when they are found out for playing on an adult site.

Ignore them or laugh at them [:D]

Can someone tell me why on earth a so called Dominant would write a submissive and is very rude to her. I just had someone do this, I wrote him and said he was being rude and why. That was when I sawthat he blocked me. I just don't get it. Am I missing something here?

Respectfully,
sultry

Alas, imputing motive to anyone else's actions is difficult, at best.
In any case, there is some sort of payoff for the writer.

Just speculating a bit:
  • It's a "Troll". Someone who is trying to get you to waste your time responding.
  • It's a snotty nosed kid with too much time on its hands.
  • It's a psychologically damaged individual acting out his/her psychic injury.
  • It's someone with a misguided sense of how to approach a potential partner.

Subs/slaves get baited more than Doms, I would imagine.

My advice, for what it's worth, would be to not respond and to put the writer of the nastygram on block.

JMHO.

Wait till you get 'warnings' of impending doom of some sort, because they've chosen to twist your words. This is, of course, after you've told them no. LOL I really was glad to find out this side of the person, before actually meeting them offline. Think if I'd told them offline that I didn't think we matched up.
Yes, usually once you say no, for whatever reason (I'm always polite about it) you're then fat and ugly. Makes me laugh.
Blocking them doesn't do much, many of them have several screen names to just come back at you with. I read their usless attempts at beratment and laugh.

ahhhhh I see sounds

scratchingpost -> RE: Rude Emails (4/7/2006 3:55:32 PM)

My guess is that they do not have class etiquette or respect for submissives. When I contact someone I actually take the time to READ their profile and display this by mentioning something from it to indicate that I respect the time it took them to create such a profile that caught my eye.. If someone is to serve me I want them to know from first email forward their emotional and physical well being will be respected at all times. Unless is offensive beligerant or rude  to me or treat me with disrepect I do not block people.

I must be on the "be rude to me" list. I got another today..I blocked him..This is sure getting tiring. I just laugh now..<schrugs>

I'd love to send you a rude e-mail, but it's a solid principle of mine never to send anyone skeevy shit if I'm too far away to follow it up in person.

Saying 'no' makes you fat and ugly? At last I have an explanation! I've obviously been too negative all my life ...

I understand your point, but I think you yourself are falling into cliche thinking.
