Have either of you ever heard the saying, "There's nuthin' to it but to do it"? Try to find a local dance studio that is not affiliated with a national chain and see if they have group lessons. That's the cheapest way to go (other than the bar lessons where it's easy to pick up bad habits...and no, I don't mean smoking and drinking), and you don't usually need a partner because it's a group lesson. You might even check USADance.org to see if they have a local chapter (it's a national group for dancers). They often have lessons and large dances several times per month. Personally I would recommend learning East Coast Swing first. It's easy, it's fun, and can be danced to any good swing music (country, rock, big band, etc.).

I think it iis very sexy. I don't have the time , but i would love to learn it. I watch Dancing With The Stars and those male pros are very sexy. So a man who can dance is sexy with a capital S.

Ok Igor...you're on. I'm gonna put swing dancing on my list of things to do for the year. I started out the year right by going back to school to start a new career and I'm going to do this too. Maybe not right now....homework is a bitch when you're old and getting used to it again, but I'm saving your post to look up swing dancing when the semester is over. I mean last year I took up bicycling and ended up doing six 40 mile rides over the summer and I also tried kayaking. What the heck, I can learn to dance this year. Thanks

Dude, are you kidding me? i can't even believe that you asked this question.

While there is nothing that ALL women enjoy, i can tell you from personal experience that a large percentage of women like a man who can dance.

i can honestly say that when i used to go out dancing, it was the only time that i can remember when women would buy me drinks. i kid you not. i would get drinks sent to me all the time. Then beautiful women would come up to me and ask me if they could have the next dance. i'd always have a line of women waiting to dance with me.

Women who can dance LOVE a guy who can dance. The better she is, the more she enjoys a skillful partner.

i love Salsa dancing. Very fun, and very sexy. i also took ballroom dancing lessons and loved it. it's a night of groping and touching. It's like foreplay, only she is asking you to do it.

i've always felt that too many guys missed the boat on dancing. Guys seem to think it's not macho or something. But most women see it completely differently. They love being led around the room by a guy who can dance. Many have told me that it's like being swept off their feet.

I think it's sexy as shit and women loooooooooove a man who can dance(Which likely explains the first part of the sentence).

Yes do a search, i am sure they do it in the USA too, i know they do it in Canada.
it is absolutely ace
it has elements off all dances in it and it suits any 4 beat music, you can do it in your own style, it is easy to learn, it can be done absolutely anywhere, it is a great work out, you can wear what ever you like (most guys take an extra clean shirt)

Sexy, as long as he's confident and enjoys it. Doesn't even have to be that good, I learned all the ballroom I know dancing around the ashtrays in the house of a metalhead gamergeek (who's mum made him take tango lessons from the age of like 4) so actual talent would be wasted on me.

As another poster said, it depends on the attitude of the man. If he doesn't enjoy it and is obviously only out there because he's been bugged into getting on the dance floor then it's lame. But if he is happy to be dancing and moving in unison with his partner and having a good time while doing so, then it's incredibly sexy.

I don't think of it as Sexy, but it certainly isn't lame. But then again, I love all kinds of Dance. It just looks so nice, when a couple can do all that, without tripping all over each other. Almost as good a Ballet......well ALMOST !
