So what happened? In my experience most people who rush to collar online because they "understood" what a person was all about based on a profile, very rarely know what they were talking about. But it is good to see you are still alive.

Wow, this NOT usual. This guy is way over-anxious. Lots of red flags here. If he's mentoring you, he can't play. Mentoring is a hands-off relationship. Technically, you must ask to be under consideration.

Stop, think and then run away from this relationship.
