Uhmmmmm.

I had a wonderful salad for lunch. Mixed spring greens, chopped braeburn apple, chopped walnuts, crumbled feta cheese.....with my favourite salad dressing. Neuman's lite balsamic.

Then I went out to walk. Cut my normal two mile walk about 1/2 mile short because I felt like my face was freezing off.

I saw quite a few hot college girls. I don't think any of them wanted to bang me either.

I was nice to the old lady coming out of the bus station and thanked the guy that motioned me to go ahead and cross the street.

I haven't eaten all day, so I think I'll go broil the fish I have thawed (sure would go great with LaT's salad!).  To keep on topic, I'll be sure to talk to someone.

I've enjoyed this part of the discussion (LA, LaT, and yourself) because I am scratching my head about the same thing.  You've chosen to be an asshole as you term it, based mostly on past experiences, and slightly on having grown up a geek (in respect that you don't care about other people's opinions).  You seem fixed on this path, but I don't see the payback.

For example, you could meet, or may have already met someone who's a 95% match, but the greeting you gave them turned them off.  It's almost like your ideal match will tolerate any and all asshole behavior from you.  What would a woman look forward to in such a relationship?  Would these traits overcome being on the receiving end of perpetual assholery?

Yet most of us did not grow up to be a self professed 'asshole'. I am seriously curious why you chose that path and feel it is the best.

I share my home with another geek, yet 99.9% of the time, he is far from being an asshole and has a great life. He is loved, respected, and very well liked.

You're merging two answers to two different questions. Don't.

I'm an asshole because of my past relationships and my realization that I don't need to and will not compromise in order to have a relationship with a woman.

I don't care about others' views on my being an asshole because I grew up a geek and thus don't care what their opinion of me is.

The more succinct answer is -- I'm an asshole because I'm an asshole. I don't care what you think of my being an asshole because I grew up a geek and never cared what anyone's opinion of me is.

I remember one lady I used to play with at times, the only way to shut her up was to shove My cock in her mouth. Is that bad?

I did as well, however I just cannot equate geek with asshole automatically.

Me neither Aylee. I know lot's of geeks who are wonderful people. Not sure how he linked the two.

I don't either, Aylee. There are geeks that are not assholes, and assholes that are not geeks.

If I understood (and right now, it highly possible I did NOT), Loki is saying that because he was a geek in school, that lead him to things happening, that made him decide to no longer care about how others thought of him. This, in turn, led to him behaving in ways that society, in general, may consider assholish.

For what it's worth: I do not always disagree with Loki. I think.... I just tend to see much less of the things he sees. But are there a lot of women that are horrible, hypocritical, shrews? Sure. Plenty of them on CM. Hell, there are some women I generally like, that flirt with that kind of behaviour. The thing is, I see the same (although manifesting in different ways, at times), from men. I think (guess?) that he just seems to respond more strongly in response to the women doing these things, or so it seems.
