These both very well spoken. I suppose that's why Kim and I get along like peas and carrots. When we are unhappy of struggling with something, we each withdraw and become silent, processing internally, sometimes for days.

And yet, its wonderful- I can tell when she is processing something, and I give her space to work it out, knowing when she is ready, she will come and present her thoughts to me.
And likewise, when I want to be silent, she knows not to nag or hector me- or better, she doesn't want to nag or hector me for something to fill the silence.

And I do know that many others are not like that, and it is very good advice to not try to change them, or denigrate them for being the way they are.

No, I don't find myself bored at all if they're willing to talk or open up about things, whether it's themselves, their philosophies, their thoughts, opinions on whatever, as long as they're willing to talk about something deeper than pubic hair preferences and sexual kinks.

Not at all. I can't say I've ever been involved with someone who didn't want to listen or who wasn't interested in what I had to say. Everyone I've ever been involved with has actually encouraged it. I could find fault with a few of my ex's, that's for sure, but this wouldn't be one of them.

No, I was talking out my ass. You are correct. I tried to correct it. There were two guys with Loki going on. The one you are remembering and the pirate guy from Oklahoma, now Hawaii I think.
