I would listen to you before I banged you. I would look earnest and make all the appropriate noises.

After ?...... "why are you still talking?"...... " go make me a sandwich!"

Love

Jeff

Well Jeff darlin'... if you ever found the right girl, she would have that sandwich made ahead of time and within arm's reach in a small cooler by the bed, complete with your favorite beer on ice.

You really gotta stop with the amateur subs, I swear.  They're giving us twue subs a bad name.

Cali

Show off.

Men do you wish women would lose the desire to talk?

Talking is what a lot of females do. Myself, I am a listener. If they have a pleasant voice, it is a pleasant background noise. If there is anything interesting in their talk I will pay attention.

or that need to complain, without any desire to fix things. Yes, I know women like to express, and hate it when men try to fix things. But it is still annoying, like a metric socket on a Imperial nut- GRRR WTF!

well, whilst I don't count myself into that category, that reminds me on a colleague who moaned a lot about our employer within the last years...but did she ever bother to get her arse up when I informed her about great alternatives Particular as she was on the relief bank, and therefore would not have lost her current employer with just applying at one of the other ones and potentially giving it a go to work for them...of course not

Needless to say, these days I don't listen to her moan anymore...if she wants to moan I inform her that I "need to go." (when we are on the phone...my patience is finally gone.)

Irony being, MzM, that when women are really really really angry, they cannot say a word.

I had that experience end of last year as a few people know from Cmail when I had my first meeting again (after many years break up) with my casual Dom...I got so pissy at him on that occasion that I had no desire at all to say a word. I know he wanted to fix the situation and wanted me to talk...but I was not able to...all I wanted was to go.

Once I was back home and had my sleep, the day after I was able to email him why I was as wind up as I was and we decided a few weeks later to meet up again...and on that occasion it was a great meeting...

so whilst this happens rarely that I can't talk...on that occasion it is true as for me it was done at that moment. No matter how much understanding he would have given and whatever...I had no desire anymore at all on that occasion to stay there one second longer than necessary and all I wanted was to go NOW.

Lol and regarding Stevie...

quote:

I have heard that women need more talk time than men do.

I need some quiet time after a day at work Any woman with me needs to give me that.

But I love chat during breakfast, when 99% of the human race is still sleepy...

A relationship with a guy like you would be a very quiet one...you would be on your own during breakfast as I usually don't do breakfast (I simply can't eat that early and stay in bed as long as possible before I have to get up) and after work...well, there it is time to let off steam at home....so there you would run off to get your peace or gag me to shut up (I assume)

With my current potential Master so far it appears we have a similar understanding of the level of talking we like...we both don't talk like a book (well...I can, but for that there has to be a real reason behind it, such as catching up the last 6 months or so) and when I managed to touch a topic he wants me to stop, then he will tell me to stop...

that being said, the first time I did not get it (or well, I did not take it serious enough)...so it did wind him up...however, as communication is important for both of us we reflected at a later stage why he got bossy at me...

another time I managed again to find a topic he did not like...there he decided to rephrase it...and said "bite your tongue."
This time, I got him straight away and he had no need to get bossy at me

And thats one of the things I like about this guy...he can tell me to shut up...but he also shows creativity to make himself heard

Women do you find your man, potential man, ex-men will indulge and talk, or do they not even look at you when they speak and all that sort of thing. Do you find it satisfactory to speak with a man, if he opens up is it interesting to you or do you find yourself bored? Is it the content?

Perhaps it is what most women have to say? Men like talking to me... but then again I like talking about stuff they like to talk about...

I like talking about science, the news, politics, etc... I learn all I can comfortably about my man's interests, and then I become conversant about them. Over the years this has led me to being very conversational with almost any man that strikes my fancy... there is one place that this does not apply, and that is sports.. I do not like them and I will not talk about them, and I prefer men that feel the same way...

My guy, he loves talking to me. It has been 4 years of long assed talks lasting for hours and hours. We still will talk for a couple of hours at a shot. I love talking to him and he loves talking with me. We never run out of material... yeah, weird, but true.
