Absolutely false. Aluminum melts at under 1300 degrees F, well below the temperature of burning jet fuel, and the fire of a burning building is considerably hotter than that. Just google it, it takes 5 minutes. If burning jet fuel can't melt aluminum, how do you explain this picture?

Well seeing as a Boeing 757 is made of light weight materials (including aluminum alloys and epoxy composites), one could reasonably assume that the fire created by the jet fuel (which burns at temps between 800 and 1500 degrees F), would be hot enough to vaporize most of the plane.

But who am I to try and debunk the truthers, at least this keeps em busy and typically in one place.

That's the fan your looking at (the engine face).  The blades in the following stages decrease in size, then increase slightly.  These are high-bypass engines, so they have huge fan stages.  Go check the site I just quoted and it has a cross section of a typical engine.

I already quoted you the temp of burning jet fuel add to that the other flamables inside the plane and aluminum doesn't stand a chance, especially in the thickness used for the 757 skin.

How is the nose of the plane the weakest part structurally, especially in terms of being used like a dart? Guess you have never seen a wing or 2 shear off of a plane?
