well apparently she's in good company b/c I didn't see your point either.

I've spent the last 12 years of my life in various relationships with men, and not one of them has perfect aim 100% of the time with the lights on. As the bathroom cleaner in the relationship, I am grateful none of them decided to give it a "shot" with the lights off.

I'm aware that you didn't see the point -- hence why I pointed that out first. (Post #55)

I never said *all* men can hit their target *100% of the time*. What I said was "Some men can piss with the lights off." Which was in reply to your post saying "He's turning the damned light on either way, he can lift it and put down."

The point being that not all men need to turn the lights on "either way." Some can do just fine with them off. It's much the same way a blind man doesn't trip over his own coffee table, though he can't see it. When you piss in the same toilet day in and day out, you kinda know where it's at. Sure, things like sex and other factors can throw off the stream, but barring those factors, pissing accurately in the dark isn't that hard if one is paying attention.

Now looking before you sit down, on the other hand, is apparently very tough -- for women.

Thanks for proving my point. Someone should call CPS and save that poor child.

Personally, I find pissing on people disgusting, but for Loki, I'd more than gladly make an exception. His mouth is always open anyway.

Funny. I've been thinking the same thing about you for months. When you learn reading comprehension, you may speak to me again. Until then, you're dismissed.

For someone who claims to be ignoring me and who's preaching to others to ignore me, you sure talk about me an awful lot.

I knew you couldn't ignore me if you tried. [:D]

I'm probably about to alienate most of the female population on collarme, but here goes . . .

What is the big deal with toilet seats? I've lived with men my whole life and figured out early on that they leave the seat up, so it became my habit to look before sitting down. I've never fallen in (ok, there was one near calamity, but it was funny) and never sat in pee. Seriously, why is this such a burning issue for so many? Is it that hard to just look and put the seat down if it's up?

This is not a problem, I live manless here in my female haven. I pick out my own shower curtain, towels, and seriously feminine art in my bathroom... highly gurlie. And the toilet seat is down.

Sinergy used to insist that it was me that left the seat up when we lived together, that it was not him, because he wouldn't forget such a thing (yes, I did attempt to explain to him that I was not the one that put the seat up to relieve myself, and yet he still insisted it was me[:D])

I figure with my guys, Ive done their future significant others and friends a favour.... they  appreciate other and are able to give a damn. Its common courtesy for me.

Too bad it doesn't get them any. They out-number you, yet it's your way that is done. Makes no sense at all. At my friend's house, I can kinda see the seat being down. There's one guy and three girls. At your place, it makes no sense. But then men rarely get any courtesy anyway, so I'm not surprised.

Sinergy usually remembers to lower the seat, unless it is a midnight run to the potty.... So he would wake up and insist I left it up because he could not possibly have forgotten, being he is the dominant one in the relationship and all[8|][:D]

Excellently put (if a little wordy). It seems then, that the only way to go is always LID down. That way BOTH parties MUST make some sort of adjustment in order to use the facilities. Then it's fair.

If it's only "seat down" it's not fair.
