Now as to your assertion that I argued that because you have convictions regarding casual bdsm then you must be equally rigid in every other way...that is not what I said.
My argument is you don't want people foisting off their "one true wayism" on you (because of course everyone has different paths in life and different ways of doing things), why should others appreciate or allow you to do the same to them? And why should you expect any more respect for your views than you gave in your answer to someone else two years ago?

Well, I guess it’s time for the OTHER HALF of the story concerning the reason; this would be the TRUE one.

Bob, you speak that it would be a sterling representa tion of behavior for site members to intro themselves. Now, although you are only thinking of this thread and its apparently importance by the pages and views, in actuality this thread was MONOPOLIZING (I'm guessing you are familiar with the term) the intro thread, and those newbie posters you are so worried about in fact could not get their intros even noticed for this threads activity. They couldn’t stay on top of the page for any length of time at all. It was thought that you were well known enough, that although you might prefer this thread stuck off by itself , separate from the regular threads and kind of showcasing your return, it in actuality quit being an "introduce yourself" post long time ago.

So, although I truly appreciate you speaking for the site, you are incorrect in your perception. For numerous reasons, including topic is not about bdsm, it belongs in random stupidity.

She did not misrepresent your stance. She posted enough of it that it represented your position quite nicely, and assumed that since you had been the one who made that answer, that you would remember it better than she without having to go back and look it up.

1. He makes a generalized and illogical statement of emotional import (or in his case more than one).
2. Many people post in response, refuting his statements point-by-point.
3. In reply Bob does not address their arguments but attacks ad hominem.

It is the same pattern over and over- I never really thought about him being a troll, because I consider *everyone* on message boards to be trolls. It's all about being funny really. People just pretend to be serious. IMO.
