No.

domiguy -> RE: Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology? (2/20/2010 10:05:44 AM)

The only reason to go to a sex clinic is to try and bang the sexually addicted. It's a great place to meet chicks. You don't even have to buy them drinks or National Geographics.

So the bimbos I guess don't go to the grocery store to get food to eat. They don't see pictures of him and his wife plastered all over the rag magazines and I guess they don't watch t.v. either.

I thought it was funny that they knew about the wife but they were upset to know he had other, others. They believed him when he said they were the ONLY other one.

Although I dont think its particularly nice for someone to lie to a gal that way. I dont expect cheaters to be honest.

No, Tiger DID NOT accept some sort of role on behalf of kids everywhere to be a good person. He learned how to play golf REALLY WELL. And when he became exceptional, companies endorsed him, and he made a shit load of money.

If PARENTS want to tell their children that they should look up to athletes like Tiger, and NBA players, and NFL players like Michael Vick....that STARTS IN THE HOME, WITH THE PARENTS. Children should be looking up to the people in their family first, to be good people. Too often, these players fall from grace, so I would NEVER tell a child of mine to act like ANY athlete. I don't care how good a person they SEEM. We don't know them from Jack!

So again, the ONLY people he owed an apology to was his wife, and his own kids.

Tiger Woods Foundation

The Tiger Woods Foundation was established in 1996 by Tiger Woods and his father, Earl Woods, to create and support community-based programs that improve the health, education, and welfare of all children in America. Currently, the foundation has established several programs and events such as the Tiger Woods Learning Center, Start Something (which was re-named Tiger's Action Plan on April 1, 2008), Tiger's Block Party, Chevron World Challenge, AT&T National, and Tiger Jam which all benefit and impact the lives of millions of children. The Target World Challenge, which was most recently changed to the Chevron World Challenge, has a generous purse of $5.75 million dollars. Tiger Woods, who hosts this non-PGA tournament, has won the event three out of the last four years and has gladly donated his winnings to his foundation.
On January 21, 2008 Tiger Woods announced the launch of his Fist Pump Challenge, an online contest designed to help young people identify and share their greatest achievements.

All he does is play golf.

You are a pain slut aren't you?

I think that's the same principle of going to drug rehab. Make new connections for when you get out.

No Tiger did not owe anyone an apology except his wife, and that's only for getting caught. With that kind of money he should start another Hugh Hefner mansion and kick her prude ass out of his life.

Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology?

It wasn't about what America was "owed"....

I only caught random extracts of his "apoplogy" and it was quite obvious it was more about being some therapeutic strategy than of genuine contrition.

If my girl screwed up to the point of owing an apology and her response was to mechanically read from a prepared script, she'd be in deeper shit...! And there's good ole Tiger reading what's obviously coached or even someone else's words in front of a hand picked audience and not taking questions blah blah....

It was a plastic, self serving sideshow but it seems his golfing buddies have lapped it up. Me, I don't like having gratuitous tripe invading my space for the spruiker's benefit! I liked him better when he was burning up the golf course by day and humping any non black good sort by night. So when did he find time to sleep and practise golf? Pffft...!

Focus.

GreedyTop -> RE: Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology? (2/20/2010 11:06:30 AM)

No apology except to family, as far as I'm concerned.  Other people's sex lives, regardless of celebrity status (or non-celeb status), hold no interest to me.  Not to mention that his actions certainly had no effect on me.

He's still a kick ass golfer.....

Musicmystery -> RE: Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology? (2/20/2010 11:19:10 AM)

Exactly.

So tell your kids, people, to strive for excellence, to work hard, to enjoy success.

And also tell them not to think this means they own the world.

Tiger's personal problems and solutions are his. I don't care either way, as long as he stays away from my girls.

My interest in Tiger is his exceptional ability at golf.

Lots of other people sleep around. No excellence there.

I like how the porn star wanted an apology as well.  I still can't figure out what for.  Late rental?

She didn't appear on the news credits under her official porn star name.

Here's the thing.

They KNOW they're sneaking around with another woman's husband. And then they're upset about dishonesty?

And people want to defend these women? Bullshit.

Date truly dominant men who will just tell you that of course you're not the only one, duh.

no . . . unless he was the one that left that spot on my back seat.

Vendaval -> RE: Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology? (2/23/2010 5:03:55 PM)

The whole culture of celebrity worship is just lame.  Does Woods owe the American public an apology?  I don't think so.  But if he wants to continue being a marketable commodity he needs to put on his best game face and play nice for the sponsors and cameras and the publicity tour.

It's all about the money.

Lashra -> RE: Do you think that Tiger Wood's owed America an apology? (2/23/2010 7:43:47 PM)

Nope the only ones he owed an apology too was his wife and his children. I frankly could care less what he does, but for some reason the media feels that they have to drag all this shit out into the public eye and make a big deal of some insincere apology. I guess the apology was supposed to pull at the public heart strings, it just made me change the channel.

Needs to apologize for the apology.

Cringeworthy, lame, contrived, insincere and embarassing all at once. Needs new writers/PR/acting lessons.  He missed the cut.

Easier to get away with lies in a dark nightclub I guess.

The truth behind the whole scandal was revealed last night: it's the fault of an alien wizard!
