Let's see here if here is anything to this story....Let's check out some of the characters... Peter, Andrew, James, John, Philip, Bartholomew, Thomas, Mathew, Thaddaeus, Simon and Judas.
This, on the surface should make the whole Elton John comment a no-brainer. As I have walked through this world I have learned that white dudes that use their "full" first name tend to have a slant towards all things dickly.....Meaning that only John out of the whole batch would of dug the gash.
However, I have also learned that black dudes tend to use the full version of their first names...(Micheal Jordan, Charles Barkley...and so on) and these are all pussy chasing fellas.
So what gives? If the dudes were white they would have all been immaculate dressers, save John of course, and Mary Magdalene would have been nothing more than a fag hag.
Since none of them were white it really throws the whole thing up in the air.
Perhaps more insight and some light can be thrown on the matter as revealed in Luke 24:42
So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb. 43 And He took it and ate in their presence.
44 Then He said to them, “Have you ever considered adding some lemon zest and shallots to this recipe? I think it would be simply smashing"
You are going to have to make up your own mind...I think Elton is on to something here.
