Well, ok, if people want to cut atmospheric pollution, but doubt global warming, then lets approach things from a different perspective.

Should we NOT be concerned, even alarmed, at the billions of tons of shit being pumped into the atmosphere?

How does the coutner argument go- "Oh, yes, we agree this is a terrible and dangerous thing to do, with results that could be disastrous.....but no, we are only disagreeing with the warming part."

Does the end result- that we should cut back on how much carbon dioxide, monoxide, sulphur and methane we produce- change even one iota?

Pumping all this stuff into the atmosphere IS pollution.

Get some duct tape and a garden hose.  Close your garage door, hook one end to the exhaust pipe of your car then take the other end and sit in your car with the windows rolled up.

Then come back and tell me carbon monoxide is not a poison......................if you survive that is.

That is part of the retraction statement that was submitted to the science journal in question. Basically, they're saying that they over looked a couple of items and asked to have their article retracted, however, they still believe that their estimations on sea-level change are still valid. They gave a pretty wide berth in their estimation of sea level rise of 7 to 82 cm.
