let me add......... there are lots of wonderful and respectful Doms on this site.

Interesting as I have never had that problem, even from female doms who may message me. Just get the few very confused female subs thinking I'd be the perfect match for them and to which I laugh at their assumptions and delete message.

Oh, I agree, that's how I see it as well. I was just letting her know that she might not be getting the kinds of messages she wants, because she hasn't said anything about herself, and has only played the "defense" card. There's really nothing to go on, when you go to contact somebody like that. For me, I just don't bother contacting them. If their profile is little more than "don't contact me if you're X years or older/younger, if you won't treat me like a princess, if you're A B or C" etc, then all I know about them is their age, gender, and sometimes approximate location. Very little to strike up a conversation about. And what's worse, many of those profiles also include a "don't message me if you only have a couple lines to give me" disclaimer as well.

No, me neither. I do think it's fair to say she might be playing a part in the lack of quality email she receives, though. Perhaps increasing the quality of the profile would increase the quality of the incoming messages to that profile. But she's not to blame for the rudeness she's been subjected to, from what I can tell anyway. :)

The OP is obviously new at this. Explain to her this is a fetish site. And there are people on here with really bizarre fetishes. Maybe even some fetishes that repulse her.

Some subbies crave extreme humiliation and disrespect. All she needs to do is delete it. If she really wants to say something just tell the Guy 'I'm not into that but thanks anyway.'

Your idea that 'one girl's rudeness is another's turn on' is fine in a consensual setting-but this isn't a consensual setting. She's trying to find a kinky partner, not asking for abusive messages from complete strangers; in fact by posting this thread she is actively seeking methods of stopping it from happening.

The counter-argument, I guess, is that having a CM profile is tantamount to giving consent for randoms to send you highly unpleasant unsolicited mail; I reckon anyone who sends out nasty mails on that basis is flagging themselves up as someone I won't ever want anything to do with, so I guess I should thank them really...

I generally am of the mindset to ignore what you don't like (the recent spate of "I hate nude avatars/pics" threads/comments comes to mind), but to send something rude to someone's inbox is a bit like sticking your head in their front door and talking smack.

Face it...there's rudeness from both sides of the kneel. And I guarantee that every single one of us can and have been rude to others at times. Just because one identifies as a dom or a sub doesn't mean they are completely above being rude.
