In fact many people in this world never love their spouse. Their marriages are planned by their families... and they are lucky if they even like each other. You were raised with one way of doing things, by your parents, who probably taught you what you should want... whether it was to rebel against the flaws in their relationship or a desire to emulate it, they still taught you about relationships... other people in other parts of the world get a far different lesson than you got, and for them love is not really an option or a choice and not one they would necessarily want to exercise if it was one... because it goes against what they were raised to believe is normal.
