Mm, if you're into this you just have to stop by the terminal one day. Really I don't know how I find these people, or if I am some sort of a magnet for really outrageous people and they find me. And I seem to be their leader.
We live in squalor, even though it is not necessary. I am teaching them, do not put the bread in the cabinet over the heating duct, put the pasta there. Hang the potholders underneath because it will dry them. Get everything out of the coldroom by May. My buddy needed a place to put a cherry picker (engine hoister) and a dump truck. Once here I asked "Is this shit hot ? " he said "No" so I said "Cool". We are now well over a thousand watts RMS in the house and will get the source all wired together for this year's block party which should include a pig roast.
Interesting crowd to sat the least. One guy can build a building and another can take it down. By whatever means, I I mean whatever. Political view run the gamut and I have to let it be known that i am armed at times when discussions of politics come around. The rest of the time we bust each others' balls whenever possible.
Work is no different. The kid takes smoke breaks in the john, the other day I was waiting to take a piss and smoked a whole cigarette. I then knocked at the door and asked "What you fall in ?" thinking it was the kid, but it was the boss ! So what.
And statutory law ends at my doorstep. Want drugs, a couple of phone calls will take care of it. Bring your dogs, your guns, your pickup trucks, dump trucks even. You can jam at four in the morning, or you could anyway up until recently. The neighbors have nothing to do with it, there is just someone in the house who has to get up early. I used to have a suite I could offer temporarily but now my sister has taken it, for a place to party. During the week she goes back to suburbia.
I don't fear the gangstas all over the place here, I just make it a point to know about half of them. Anything you want is available at the Terminal. I mean anything. I am not just talking illegal shit here. Anything. Well not the Mona Lisa, but short of that .......
There is a piano, violin and a bunch of guitars (I lost count), and on a Saturday they can be used all night even amplified. I would have a drum set but there are too many bigscreens and computers around, I simply don't have the room right now. In the basement you can build your own gun if you have the skill to do so.
Living this life, what sort of forum would you think might attract me ? A radical and kinky site where people argue and fight, and sometime agree, somewhere where tear gas has been mentioned for use in sex play ? HELL YES ! What did you think ?
