It's not a silly question but it is a sexist one. It's not just females that suffer from insecurities and jealousy. You just have to look at it from your position and see if there is something you are doing or not doing that is making her suspicious. If you feel you haven't and you can't deal with this, then really the relationships messed anyway. You have to accept your part in this and then work on it from there. Edit to add - And stop thinking of someone as male or female and as a person instead, and talk about them as a person and the way you interact with said person when the issue arises. Don't purposefully hide it, don't flaunt it either. Just be yourself and if it's normal, you have no probs. If your partner has, then that's their issue and if their lack of trust bugging you, then end it. the.dark.
