I will end this by saying this...Obama and Pelosi are pushing buttons without considering the consequences of their actions...much more, and things are going to be set in motion that will be hard to stop once started.... one side will prevail, and one will loose.... and I have no doubt who will prevail...as they say down at the firehall...bring it on..... we are at a cross roads... the road taken will determine events that will follow.... and much is already in motion... take a drive out into the country and you will hear it for yourselves.... I assure you...

Nope, just an honest voice from the western florida panhandle.... and my words mirror the feelings of many.... its truely sad its coming to this, but this land is worth the struggle to keep it free....and keep it free we shall...by one way or the other....count on it....

kittinSol To me, you're "them". You cry for freedom but your discourse is about materialism and fear. Further from freedom you couldn't be. Dear kitten - In case you have not noticed freedom has never been about freedom. It has always been about materialism. The right of one groups of "US" to acquire and keep more. We don't fight wars over ethics we fight them over money. We use ethics to justify our actions and keep the sheep happy. I think it was Ben Franklin who said something to the effect of "I love being a reasoning man, because it lets me create a reason to justify anything I want to do." Just look at the USA. Everyone says that it was founded on things like freedom; but, the reality is it was founded on materialism and money. The major reason people and settlements came was due to money "the chance to have more and build a better life by taking as much as we could" not religious freedom or the freedom of others. (Part of my ancestry is native american and European certainly did not give a hoot about their freedom - religious or otherwise. Oh yes many people say how sad it was and unjust; but, personally I like the modern USA. I certainly would not want to be wandering the plains in teepes and other makeshift housing chasing Bison and covering myself with rancid animal fat to keep insects away. The past is fun to visit but I would not like to live there.) I'm sorry if reality is different than your ideals and fantasies; but, that is life and as a submissive I'm sure you are used to that. If you wanted true freedom then everyone would have to be self sufficient (which I'm working toward) and give up materialism which will never happen.
