When I was arrested on 5/19/2009 and taken to the Jones County Texas jail, the next morning when the “Judge” as he was called came to set my bond. So I could get out. This Judge was the justice of the peace he is crippled and uses crutches to walk. He has in fact married me once so I recognized him for his position. The deputy that arrested me lied to me to get me to come out of the house and again a Jones County official would lie to me the judge said you can’t get a jury trial on a mistomener crime!! The Lawyers I spoke with both said this was a lie. HOW can our president either one Bush or Obama say we have rule of law when the judges and cops lie???

What was the misdemeanour? I'm thinking it wasnt grammar, spelling, syntax or punctuation, 'cause otherwise your pic would show you in an orange jumpsuit as a repeat offender.

There are strict liability offences - drunken driving for instance here, where the offence is in the act regardless of the intent. Was it something like this that you fell foul of?

Status: offline 		They don't actually tell people that my understanding is from my own experience police are allowed to tell a lie if the purpose is to establish the truth. For instance, after an automobile accident the officer said I was speeding and wasn't wearing my seat belt. That wasn't true so I went to court and objected to those assertions. I won that case but if I had not objected the statements by the police officer would be deemed to be the truth because I didn't say otherwise. Sold this is an example where it's ‘appropriate’ for a police officer to lie in order to get to the truth.
 I'm not sure I like this approach to getting to the bottom of things but I realize it's not a perfect world and I will give people the benefit of the doubt everyone is doing the best they can.

Yep and if he was slick the officer would have been fired for arresting him and you would have his hazzard bond in your checking account or a nice payoff from their insurance company.

Once they stop you that is an arrest, cuffing you unless you hurt someone is kidnapping.

Signing that bond?  Well its making them lots of money right now on wally street by the time its hypothecated close to a hundred times....

nice racket they have there and the real kick in the ass is that these courts have no "real" jurisdiction over the people.  you can look that up when they were established in the congressional record.

People need to understand that.  (just like the governemnt)

Gottta love the internet.

I am totally confused, I'm sorry. Okay, so you were once married to a "Judge", as you put it, who had the audacity of being "crippled"... I'm not sure if he was a Dom, based on the way it reads, but then there's also a deputy involved. Some sort of threesome?

I'm teasing. I think I grasp your intent. I did wonder what the relevance to the story might have been that the Judge required crutches. Anyway, I think the crux of the story was that you got screwed, yes??

There's a lot of detail in your anecdote but it seems far more relevant to me to share what you were doing that might have played into the whole -affair, if you will, more so anyway than the disability of the Judge. I guess your point would be that it shouldn't. God forbid matters should balance out in the other direction and the rule of law always prevail. See, personally, that just scares me more.
