I'm ok with their choice, a few less fanatics.

I don't know why Gorean's keep trying to infiltrate Earth. We have enough problem of our own. They should go back to their own planet.

Please go live with Bull for a while.

This is the U.S. EVERYTHING is about abortion, from Arbor Day to Zoos.

It's depressing, but you seem to be right.

If it gets this bill killed, its not at all depressing. The ends justify the means.

After watching the drunk little slave boy make a joke out of virtually everything last night, I'm rather disappointed at the course this thread took. But I suppose having males around like mikey leaves you gals feeling...................ah, something.

But I do appreciate those that actually understood, were open minded and made constructive comments.

Psst.... he's told the girls he's "taken".

I have a whole other vision of a taking a man but this isn't the forum for that. Though I will say, to keep all this on topic, my strap-on is a very good form of birth control! ;-)

[/quoteOh fuck that Bull ,"mikey" wasn't drunk...and as I recall the only joke I might have made that could have offended your sensitivities was about wandering into gor land.....perhaps if you were to remember where you are ,and what forum you are on ...you would not so easily be offended.
By the way, this slave type doesn't hang around with "gals"...I figure you big gorean assholes can take care of them...I prefer Woman, complete adults and with fully formed opinions.
girlies you can have Bull....they are better suited for your silliness. Now run along to Gorville.

Dammit I'm always trying to gag and blindfold all you girlies....

Justice is blind...Lady liberty has a torch to light the way (for others and Herself).

I struggle with the implications on the potential father (father's rights issues) as much as desire to keep the advancements in women's health (mental/emotional and physical). It's a fine fuckin line doncha think?

I also think those that comment most on these issues have never had an abortion themselves (fully guilty here) and have only had to deal with the feelings around it as a secondary individual or observer...which has a vast impact on the individuals who may actually need this medical service at some point in their lives.

boi

P.S. Anti-choicers (no longer "pro-lifers") saying "I had ids and never would have had an abortion" don't count because the process never crosses their minds as a valid option for dealing with an unwanted or unhealthy pregnancy. Anti-choicers who have had to seriously consider the possibility do count as they have situationally had to weight the options. Pro-choicers count because, I assume, they have considered the possibility in a real way (hypothetically or actually) without dismissing it as a "never gonna happen" kinda thing.

As far as being close to the abortion issue I have not had one obviously, but I have dealt with the emotional results for a woman that is very, very close to me and while I'm no expert on things, I sure have a reasonable understanding of parts of parts.

The human factor when allowed to show itself is an overpowering condition and often within the law is not consider as it should be. It seems like we try to compose our laws to often enough discourage the existance of the human animal we are.

I better be careful mikey will think he's back in the Gorean forum, all this talk of natural conditions and all.
Or on the other hand" mikey" might just think he is reading the words of a complete asshole.....yep thats what mikey is going to go with(by the way did I somehow get under your gorean skin last nite...you do seem a tad obsessed)

Now, now mikey, behave yourself, you're temper tantrum and personal attacks only validate my comments about you.

Like I said this thread has been informative and rather fun, for the most part.

Do try and stay on topic.

Sure thing Bull, once you explain why you saw fit to come back here today and run your uninformed mouth off where I was concerned?
And another thing unless you would like me to assign a name of my choice to you(don't think you would like it) don't fucking call me "mikey" again....I'm not one of your grandkids and I don't eat Life cereal.

And still with the tantrum...............

Well slvemike4u I have no trouble calling you by that screenname of yours. Since everyone calls you mikey, I assumed that was your preference. But hell I could care less.

Bull, my friend, I think they call mikey of georgia mikey, and servantforuse mikey, by and large, but not sm4u. as you can see, its not his major thrill for the day, and no fear but alottatimes slvmike4u and servantforuse get confused in some peoples minds
(althought I don't know why the fuck why, they are different as night and day)

Call it a truce guys? Cuz I think this is whats happening here, regarding the mikey bit. Although in Mikes mind Bull may still be an asshole, I dunno.........

LOL.

Ron

Not a tantrum Bull, again you seem confused(perhaps its all of that time in a fantasy world)little children throw tantrums...and I am,I assure  you, not a little child. It just so happens that I object when certain devotees of poorly written sci-fi sprout off about whether or not I happen to have been drunk on a given night.
While I am at it this is the "politics and religion" thread and your condescending attitude towards other posters, while perhaps completely correct in fant...er Gorsville is actually just so much macho male posturing over here in the real section...so please try to curtail that shit.

I'm gonna second Ron, please, guys.

First, your quarrel needn't be yet another referendum on Gor. Different topic for a different day.

Second, you've both outlined your positions publicly. From here, perhaps drop it or take it to cmail?

For what it's worth, yes, mike, of late you've become an undeserving target in a few threads. I think, though, Bull came late to that party, vs. intentionally going after you. I do understand the defensive posture.

My sense is that dropping it will most quickly end it, rather than perpetuating it. But it's your call.
