I don't know why DV is catching so much flack, what he's saying is 100% correct. I've already lost 25 pounds because of him. He really does know what he's talking about. The constant beatings when I would so much as look at anything other than a celery stick worked wonders. I'm down a pants size and on my way to losing tons more!

Mmmhmmm and I predict that when you get fed up with all those beatings and leave him that those pounds will come right back.  Because he's done squat to teach you good eating habits.

Funny thing, there's no mention of this miracleworker in your profile, wonder why

ETAJust noticed something curious, why is your post written in the past tense?

No, he is catching so much flack because he is trolling, and has said as much more than once in this thread.

It's all that wabbit that you're eating.

Isn't it a bit presumptuous to think that just because you loved your exercise time and it was your favorite time of the day others will love it to, and it too will be their fav time of day.  I appreciate the idea of being supportive but come on just cause you loved it not every one will.

This should be good news. Once you start working out, you'll love it, it will become your favorite time of day.

My guess is because she is in Washington and he is in California. Kind of hard to constantly beat someone from 2 states away.

What I think she is referring to is that excercise increases the flow of endorphins, which in turn gives you the feeling of satisfaction.  That is, for an instance, the same reason many if not most psychiatrists recommend daily excercise for their patients suffering from depression, anxiety or both, because endorphines are one of the best natural anxiolytics and mood-lifters one can find.
Sure the first week of excercise is going to feel more horrendous than anything, especially if you haven't done that for a long time, but sure enough there will become a point where endorphins are released and a sense of pleasure is felt.

@Wyld - yeah, it's kind of a 'guest starring this week' sort of thing. But she sure does respond well to being kicked in the ribs.

Yeah those cyber beatings can be a true inspiration

That could be. I am into photography and it used to be on nice days I would love to take my camera and walk as far around the block as I could get, and did feel refreshed and had usually some good photo's to show for it too.

@zeph - naah, she takes the train down from time to time. Thats when I can hit her in the head with a shoe.

Lucylastic -> RE: Why do we get all uppity about Weight based Threads? (3/28/2010 5:46:43 PM)

OP,  I hope this thread fulfills your knowledge as to why people get uppity, I have only read a couple of posts, but if it isn't clear by now..it never will be.
Im not uppity, or upset, Im just reading the usual mishmash of baiting and nasty.
Fat threads sure shows some true ugliness, and I'm not talking about anyone s physical size

He's catching flak because he is saying rude things. Glad you are losing weight, but I am confused about one thing. Your profile says Washington and his says San Jose. Which one is wrong?

There are these big metal contraptions that are able to deliver people from state to state and even (*gasp*) country to country. Strange, I know.

Sure thing DV....hit her in the head with a shoe...kick her in the ribs...yeah, sure [;)]

Ya know, there's an idea. You could always kick me in the stomach until I vomit. That would certainly speed up the weight loss process.

You still haven't answered my question: why no mention of McDreamydom in your profile?

Lockit -> RE: Why do we get all uppity about Weight based Threads? (3/28/2010 6:16:05 PM)

I believe that a dominant should be willing to keep themselves in the same shape they expect their submissive to keep. If the dominant can eat like a pig and become overweight and then holds his/her submissive to another standard, it is hypocritical. Starvation diet for the submissive; then starvation diet for dominant. I wouldn't respect the dominant for allowing themselves to fall into poor eating patterns that were not allowed for the submissive and it speaks to me of an attitude of... 'I want the thin, sexy, most likely younger submissive no matter what I look like' and I will beat her, subject her to judgment and all sorts of things not good for the self esteem to make her do it. (My opinion.)

Or will the dominant be beaten for a celery stick, with or without peanut butter?

Just because someone can lose weight doesn't mean it was lost in a healthy manner and that they will remain healthy.

While DV is trying to get to us and quite enjoys it, I see him as a hypocrite and inflammatory and think he really gets off to this shit.

Opalescence -> RE: Why do we get all uppity about Weight based Threads? (3/28/2010 6:17:59 PM)

I really don't spend much time on CM. Most of my journal entries about his awesomeness are on FL. :D

zephyroftheNorth -> RE: Why do we get all uppity about Weight based Threads? (3/28/2010 6:22:32 PM)

Have no fear Lockit, my guess is that no subbies were harmed in the making of those posts. I doubt they have ever met. For all her talk about how awesome he is, she makes no mention of him in her profile, I would have thought she would be raving about this fantastic Dom who has her losing so much weight if they had.

Still surely you would say something....at least the mention of a relationship?
