It's certainly less than I had hoped. But then, I knew that December and January, before he took office, when the banking bullshit blew. The polarization I see is on the right. On the left, it's come to "Well, if we have a majority, we'll have to use it," which is what Bush did right from the start, even saying so publicly, that he had a mandate to carry out his conservative agenda. And I see "polarization" in the sense of "throw them all out," with no plan. I'd rather work with what we can. People will continue to ridicule that, but it's more realistic than the other options.
