C'mon you have to admit that a product named "Black Gold" that is applying for an energy efficiency sticker, probably should have raised a flag with somebody in those agencies. The part that I find valid is the suggestion that the government cannot handle simple decisions on things like this, how can they then be counted on to decide what procedure or coverage is appropriate for our health care. As we all know, one size does not fit all. Yet that's the argument you yourself are using, is it not? One dimwitted desk jockey, or 5 or 6 dimwitted desk jockeys, in some government department is proof that the government can't be trusted to do anything at all? Come on. I don't see how I am arguing that point. As far as I know, folks were free to shop around for the coverage that they can afford or desire, be it a full coverage all the bells and whistles included, or a more modest major medical with a higher deductible. Doesn't the new law sort of whittle down those choices, as there will be a new group deciding what is acceptable coverage, and with the excise taxes on policies that go above an beyond that won't those bigger policies be dropped in favor of the minimums? Or at least I thought that was the argument in favor of the "cadillac taxes".
